Although the win over Leeds was an enjoyable watch, it was in many ways too easy and not ideal preparation for the visit of the current European Champions. Let's hope we are ready for the challenge.

That is being kind, calling them that makes them seem better than they already are. It was the flukiest win ever. They don't seem to have a very strong mentality this season either. They haven't flew for about the last six months so I really doubt it.
Extra time or no extra time, they've played a game tonight and the most strenuous thing our team has been doing is the Harlem shake.

Pissed me off, that - if Sparta could have held on for another 30 seconds, CFC would have had another 30 mins to play.

One positive is that CFC looked shaky at the back - Sparta had 2 or 3 great chances in the second half, despite not having that much of the ball.

You just dont know which chelsea will turn up on sunday,shocking performance from them tonight although they did squeeze through in the end,if they perform like that we should hammer the fcukers,although at the moment they seem to play better away from home...oh and lampard is on 199 goals and was rested tonight....

24 attempts on goal, only 4 on target - didn't have any shooting boots on it seems.
