some insight on this would be much appreciated.

anyway I concluded that you don't like Edin as a player (not as a person as you seem to have concluded) simply because all you've been saying all night is how shit he is and went to great distance to bring out all the negative stats you had about him...
how about bringing something positive out after this win, because in today's performance he had far more positives than negatives...

This is a stupid argument. Scoring goals doesn't mean you had a great game if it took you 5 chances to score it. Inzaghi made an entire career on missing 10 chances and scoring one, then the world declaring him brilliant.
And that is the least assity assist ever. You are basically saying "let's hope he completely fucks up his shot bad enough that it can be mistaken for a cross every game"
Seems to be getting in the first 11 and doing quite a lot, are you a hive of activity?HOLMSLICE said:Rodwell doesn't do much, does he? I know its abit harsh, but he needs to offer a hell a lot more if he wants to get near the first 11

Because it was daft. Inzaghi will never go down as "one of the greats". Ask 10 people to name the 50 greatest strikers ever and he'll be maybe 2 lists. That's the point, people thought Inzaghi was great until they watched him. In reality, he had good movement to find good positions but his finishing was poor. He needed several chances to score, every single game. He was not a man you could rely on to bury the ball in the one chance you had in a high pressure game.

Yes, those two posts that I made criticising him for giving the ball away is obviously me calling him shite all night. And there's no such thing as negative stats. There's just stats. Dzeko gave the ball away 16 times today. This is a fact. I'm sorry it affects your world-view so badly, but you'll have to learn to deal with it.

Because I post on here to discuss City, not all sit around and suck each other off?

I thought we looked profligate both in attack and in defence. Tevez, Silva, and Yaya stood out but then the three of them are world class. Not sure what's going on at the back. If anyone who went to the game has a view be interesting to hear it.
No such language as Brazilian, they all speak Portugese, doubt if Silva does though. On the up side he does have a middle finger!Salar said:He also showed mancini the finger and cursed him in brazilian.:)GaudinosWheels said:doomuk said:Was listening on Talkshite whilst putting the kids to bed.
What happened? Did he storm off?
It's really not good that he's still not signed his contract.
Slammed the ball down when his number went up and just looked pissed off as he walked off the pitch.

It depends how long he was away with his new baby, if he wasn't fully involved in training this week then Mancini would have been reluctant to start him.
