City's budget

Think what Worsely Web is saying is that Spurs are a big club and he’s right. Just so happens they are underachieving but nevertheless they will be an attractive club to many
They will only attract players that cannot attract any of the other big 5 sides, simple as that, really.
Spurs are now in debt limbo, a bit like Arsenal was after building the Emirates. They must wait, clear debt, make some good appointments to all areas (this bit is crucial) and maybe in 5 years they will have a resurgence.

True, just not those already at a top club, like ours.

It's the six million dollar question mate, nobody really knows
I think we want to and intend to but with the money we recoup on players out, even if we get both Grealish and Arry, our net spend could end up 100m or less.

Spurs have lived off their glamour club of london tag for decades and blagged it that they are a main force in play, and yes under potch they went as clise as can be to competimg for the title and getting into a champs league final.

But they always fell short and the last 5 years where they looked like pushing on seems to have come to an end and will be hanging around mid table for a few years scrapping it out with west ham, arsenal, everton and villa for that 6th place finish

They still live off the "always win when the year ends in 1" bullshit which hasn't been true for a long long while.

I don't go with the big club small club rubbish, just where a club is at presently and spurs in the last 5 years have gone from 2nd, 3rd,4th, 6th and 7th last year and can only see at the minute this season them being a mid table team.

Leicester and us are the two best run clubs in the country.

Don't underestimate Leicester.

Yet the contrast in narrative is staggering

Us - well run and managed, self sufficent owned by private individual and partially by a chinese company and american investors, who are portayed as a state owned human rights abusing sports washers

Foxes - well run and managed and seen here as owned by a loverble thai family, even though they have been in court for several tax dodging charges over the years in Thailand, and are one of the biggest funders of the present military junta ruling Thailand through marshal law, rigged elections and a crackdown on political freedom.

But on a running a football club level Leicester are run very well I agree
