Jesus, really, is this the best you can do in his defence.

It is okay if he lets every shot in as long as we keep the shots down to an absolute minimum lol

It is clearly a compromise that the manager has made. Which ever way you look at it, we do not concede many shots on our goal. That has a lot to do with the possession football we play - now, of course I would have hoped/expected Bravo to make saves but, equally, you would expect our strikers/midfield payers to put the ball away

No, there wasn't concern, there was an atmosphere of "This c*nt better be fucking flawless or else". A large segment of the fans were desperate for an opportunity to moan about Guardiola getting rid of Hart, they couldn't wait, and whether his mistake had come in the united game, or 2 months down the line, some members of this forum were salivating at the idea of him cocking up, backed up by the same "this foreign passing out from the back lark aint for me, what's wrong with defenders who just lump it into row z" attitude that already existed.

The old Bravo thread has been taken down but you could see it in the comments before his debut, he was already on the chopping block before the United game, and afterwards you'd think we'd lost the game because of him, not put in one of the most dominant displays in years at the swamp - a game which would have been 4 or 5 if not for some laughably bad finishing from the front 4.

Paul Merson was writing him off before he signed and the 'I prefer a keeper who can catch' mantra was born before Bravo had even signed.
The stop pissing around at the back mantra is strong amongst many City fans.

Bravo has had poor form in terms of shot stopping since he arrived. Although he's actually had some very good games.
Many City fans wanted an elite top 5 in the World keeper to replace Hart, we signed a universally recognised top 5 keeper but he's struggled.
Some just don't like change.

Bravo has struggled but even if he hadn't and had been decent, some fans would still slate him.

most groaning was at the ref or defence

Fans will moan if obvious errors are made

Why not? Fans are human not fucking robots.
What I'm saying is that SECTIONS of City fans did not aim booing directly at Bravo in numbers.

Certainly not from where I sit.

Sorry but there were audible groans in the build up to our second goal Saturday.

My dad said there were audible groans when the ball went back to bravo for the second time in that move...ball was in the net 40 seconds later.

Some people just don't get it and don't want to get it.
