Regardless, the comment he replied to was silly and evidently incorrect.
Neither silly or incorrect,on his current form everyone thinks he is crap, probably when he leaves us he'll go back to being good, some moves just don't work out.I read we are letting fewer shots on goal so if we had a keeper making saves we would be better off points wise surely ?

Only if the goals he's conceded have led to points being dropped, which I'm not sure too many have.

Paul Merson was writing him off before he signed and the 'I prefer a keeper who can catch' mantra was born before Bravo had even signed.
The stop pissing around at the back mantra is strong amongst many City fans.

Bravo has had poor form in terms of shot stopping since he arrived. Although he's actually had some very good games.
Many City fans wanted an elite top 5 in the World keeper to replace Hart, we signed a universally recognised top 5 keeper but he's struggled.
Some just don't like change.

Bravo has struggled but even if he hadn't and had been decent, some fans would still slate him.

Regardless of his previous form he has been poor at the main thing he is suposed to do as a keeper and that is keeping the ball out of the net. Fans are going to judge him on his performances for us today not what he did for Barca or whoever. His confidence must be really low now as Pep dropped him then brings him back and he makes a mistake with the only save he has to make. He hasnt worked out it happens with some players. Maybe he will recover maybe he will be given time I dont know, no one does apart from Pep and Bravo.

We would have to dissect that game by game but if he makes 2 or 3 saves a game like every other keeper does he would have saved us points like all good keepers do,i'm sorry but i don't see him doing the basics and no amount of to and fro on here is going to change that, only he can do that

Edit that was a reply to pablo

If we had a better shot stopper (mentioning no names) then we'd almost certainly have a keeper who isn't as successful in the style of play which has lead to us conceding less shots. We'd either be back to hoofing the ball to our opposition nearly every time or the keeper wouldn't have the ability to play the kind of passes required to maintain possession in a small space on a consistent basis.

I thought the comment you responded to originally was about people "in the game" rating him? I'm not being snide - and correct me if I'm wrong - when I assume you don't have any connections and aren't in a position to speak on their behalf. Neither do I but the facts suggest otherwise.

I get that blues aren't arsed about what he achieved before he came to us, but I highly doubt that the professionals he's worked with and against have the short memories of those on here. They've seen him day in day out, he still captains his national team, they voted for him as one of the best in the world and they speak in nothing other than respectful terms. Unless you're talking about the Soccer Saturday panel who I wouldn't classify as being "in the game".

Some will simply never get this angle.

I understand about the first bit,the bottom line is we need a keeper that can do both,i feel for the guy i really do but we are in the run-in now and we can't be letting every shot in,a compromise on the distribution has to be done,be pragmatic and put the best shot stopper in,willy is confident give him the shirt back and sort it out in the summer
I only read uk press and bravo is not rated here by anyone
