Well, we were up 2-0 but the I think the loss was imminent...not to take anything away from the players but United was more dangerous all game.

Dear Vincent, don't feel so bad about that blunder...we still have the Champions League, FA, carling cup and the premiership!

We might have lost the battle...but we have yet to lose the war!

their first goal was the problem, defender scoring that goal, similar to shreks at O/T could have gone anywhere!! but we didnt have enough second half at all in all areas.

Still hopefully that will be the only thing they win all season!!

Erm...am I the only one who doesn't care?

...I always thought City would lose and although I'm pretty annoyed we let a 2 goal lead slip, we have to remember City started with NONE of the summer signings + an extra creative midfielder (whomever it may be to be added), and to be honest they didn't give a f**k.
I always believe that the only game City cared about more than Scum was the FA CUP Semi because they had the chance to win a cup worth while.
All it showed was that the summer signings from Ushited, especially the goalkeeper, weren't as good as the hype suggested, that proves when push comes to shove City might prove a more worthy opponent than I first believed to Scum's title defence.
We shall see at the end of the season ends, but perhaps we have a chance and U**ited's brief...as Chelsea won last season's CS...grip on the title will fade...
 
Didn't play well looked leggy, off the pace and not as fit as the rags.

Two goals before half tine glossed over this. Thought we would control 2nd half with the lead but we didn't.

Disappointing, but it will be more disappointing if it happens in the proper season.

Oh well I'm gonna get crucified in work tomorrow by all the Irish lads. Should be fun.
 
Just weren't good enough. United looked sharper and fitter, this was maybe because they had a better pre-season than us. One game doesn't make or define a season boys, there's still a long way to go. One more thing; Chelsea got beat by the rags in the community shield last season and didn't start too badly in the league did they?

Played shit, 2 nil up, played the game out. We were shit, didn't work out.
