He was probably looking at one of Wembley's less salubrious toilets when he said it.He’s just said United will be “there or thereabouts” at the end of the season, which is an even worse take.

Maybe the wrong thread but on BT Sport at one point Hoddle was giving tips to Pep on how to manage.
I personally don’t mind Hoddle and sometimes he can provide some good comments, however someone should surely have pulled him up on this.
I do like Zinchenko , but someone needs to teach him to put the ball out of play , safety first , three occasions today he should have headed the ball for a corner or a throw in and instead he tried to keep the ball alive. Apart from this he is a very good full back , but still has to learn some defensive basics.
Mark Clattenburg: "The reaction of the City manager was not acceptable... Four yellow cards for a manager will lead to a one-match touchline ban this season. Luckily for the City boss, the Community Shield is not considered a 'competitive fixture'." [via @MailSport]
Fuck off you bent git
Any news on when Mendy is back? I agree it’s risky if we go into the season with zinchenko and Angelino
Always nice to beat them, but not sure it was particularly deserved (although in some ways that makes it sweeter). We were by far the better team in the first half, but thought we were poor in the second half and they looked much more threatening. Suggests it will be a very close title race again. Looking forward to it.
Lol you sound like my neighbour at the Etihad. He still can't stop worrying about passing out from the back.
Sure Zinchenko can improve. He's still very young and is relatively new to the left back role. Compare how he is to how he was on his debut there against Wolves in the league cup and he's improved so much already.
Believe in him. He's far more intelligent as a player than Mendy. Mendy is an average defender, with average positional play, but has an exceptional first time cross on him. In all other areas, Zinchenko matches him or betters him.
Zin worries me. We might like him for his effort but we wont win CL with him. Hes always gonna be targeted by world class attckers and come off worse i worryAny news on when Mendy is back? I agree it’s risky if we go into the season with zinchenko and Angelino

He made at least three crucial interceptions; the usually dipper cvnts loving argies from EspnLa were praising him, Zinchenko. He's trained with the first team for 3 days this week. If all goes well, he'll be back for the Spurs game, before ending his season against Norwich in mid September.
Don't worry about Zinchenko. He won every premier league game he's played in. He was rusty today against the hardest opponent he will come up against this season. He'll come good.
Er..... Yes, we did.city looked vunerable and liverpool looked classy all second half , you can be excited as much as you like about winning a penalty shoot out but you didnt win the match
Is the word humble in your name ironically or are you just lacking in self-awareness like most other scousers?city looked vunerable and liverpool looked classy all second half , you can be excited as much as you like about winning a penalty shoot out but you didnt win the match
Neither did you so what's your point?city looked vunerable and liverpool looked classy all second half , you can be excited as much as you like about winning a penalty shoot out but you didnt win the match
I haven't seen much of it, but I got the impression following it, that it was quite even until 60 minutes, and that we missed a number of good chances at 1-0, the Sterling run where he just gave it to the keeper should be a goal, and that would have changed things. Some heroics at the end, but as others have said their goal came from a free kick that wasn't, and some quite rusty defending, I'm not worried that we tried, but we held on, and 5 near perfect penalties, it's hard not to be pleased to beat them :-)Always nice to beat them, but not sure it was particularly deserved (although in some ways that makes it sweeter).
