Considering becoming a vegetarian

We are built to catch meat, we’ve made a pretty good job of it!
Nonsense. We FARM meat.

A gorilla isn’t an ancestor, where are you getting that from haha?
Err, National Geographic and our genomes. You?
https://www.nationalgeographic.com/news/2012/3/120306-gorilla-genome-apes-humans-evolution-science/

And anyway, the point is we evolved into what we are today for several reasons, but eating meat was a key one and humans, on every continent since, have always eaten meat, therefore it comes natural to us.
You’re not a science guy, are you?!

I agree about quality and I agree that we should less but we’re talking about the morality of it and whether it should be illegal.
Factory farming is immoral. Animal farming waste and protein destruction is a growing problem. Cows are not a good channel for protein translation. What they eat has far more protein than what they pass along to us.

Illegal is a big word.

I went out with a girl years ago who was a veggie,
No problem So 1 night we went to a Restaurant and I had a vegan meal to try and impress her

It looked like baked beans on rice and was awful

I was starving still when we came out,so whilst she went to get the car I nipped of to a Mcdonalds for a mega quick Burger and fries

She took a lot less time to pick up the car and drive to approx where I was and wasnt impressed with me shovelling a burger down, needless to say it was my only vegan experience

You never know what’s going to happen.

Human beings have always had a balanced diet, as you yourself do now, I’m only continuing that.

I’m too fat but it’s mostly beer not meat!

The quality of meat I eat is better than average I’d say.
I’m not sure where you’re getting this crap, but it’s not true. An ancestral “balanced diet” is NOTHING like what you consider a balanced diet, even 100 years ago for most people on earth. Even today, most people on earth don’t eat what YOU perceive to be a balanced diet in the western world, even before they add to their fat stores with liquid carbohydrates.

The article says we may have a common ancestor, they’re not our ancestor, there’s a huge difference.

Haha I’m not a science guy, no but based on your last two posts, you’re selling pencils from a cup with your underpants on your head, compared to me.

Humans did evolve with the help of meat assumption, this theory is pretty widely acknowledged, look it up.

Well morality is subjective and I disagree that farming meat, if don’t ethically, is immoral.

You say it is but yet you still eat it?

I went veggie some years ago couldn't stop farting. Doc said it was occupational hazard if you go veggie. Just as bad as cows for methane.

Im not sure why you’re getting so angry?

Being vegan is easier today than it has ever been since farming took over, and being vegetarian is a cakewalk (see what I did there?!).

I’m a fallable human, like everyone else.
