Btw the 4 deaths excluded all three from England. Only the 4 Welsh ones counted.

So there were Zero Covid deaths in England today - first in a long time even with Sunday data.

Wife happens to ring local dr surgery asked if I could have the jab (29 so not my turn yet) said they had some left over Pfizer slots for Friday. Not gonna lie pretty nervous as suffer from pretty bad anxiety issues but I know I need to get this done! Any words from other members who have had the jab appreciated! Thanks

Keep wiggling your toes before they stick the needle in... it helps you relax
Edit: on a serious note there is absolutely nothing to worry about. A sore arm is likely to be the worst you will get... the upside, feeling better able to combat the virus is immense!

FWIW my view is that this isn't a reason to delay opening up but definitely is a reason not to accelerate.

I think much depends on the context of the variant outbreaks. Are they general in the community - in which case the variant will spread exponentially across the whole country - or are they associated with high risk local specifics (workplaces, places of worship, low vaccination rates...)?

My parents had both Pfizer jabs..no side effects..you'll be fine

Had my 2nd jab yesterday. Aside from a sore arm, till lunchtime today, and feeling a bit stuffed up, much better than the first one in terms of side effects.
My daughter says it sort of proves I had Covid-19 during the first wave. No shit says I.
