Could Pedro Porro be a long-term replacement for Walker?

Do we have a sell on clause? If so if we don’t buy him back then I’ll understand
I’m sure I ready £7m is the sell on we get from his release clause being met, less if they take less. So potentially we could buy him back then sell him in the summer and make £15m or £8m more than if we just let the deal progress and take our cut with no effort on our part and outlay of wages etc. if you calculate all that then it may not be worth it v’s just taking the money now.

It’s sporting we are in the process of becoming partners with in some way? Maybe buying Porro for the sake of it is not the business we want to do with them when there is so much that may happen in the future.

Yeah if that’s true no need to buy him and then sell

City penny pinch at every opportunity, there's no chance in hell they'll pass up the chance to make a quick £10 million without a very good reason. We've no idea what kind of clauses we're put into the sale of him to Sporting, could have an agreement not to buyback and sell within the same window, we might have an agreed sell on percentage to let them sell him without us getting involved, we might be looking to build favour with sporting for one reason or another, maybe Porro himself isn't on board with the flip. Assuming he goes to spurs and assuming we don't activate the buyback there could be any number of reasons why but you can be sure we've made sure we've got the best possible deal for ourselves out of it.

He's ranked among the top 10 for RBs across Europe by multiple rating sources...Bringing him back at 15 mil is a no brainer...
Angelino was performing just as good as Porro when at PSV. It is not a guarantee. If he isn't sold in this window then perhaps take a gamble on him in the summer.
