I'd say it's standard procedure to give these triage protocols in these situations, and thankfully they give them. I don't want to imagine if each doctor had to quickly make such a decision on their own multiple times a day.
Yes, the protocol is standard across emergency care systems, I meant the overall description of the state of things in Lombardy.

Are you able to speak to if it seemed more sensationalist than sincere?

The number of critical care beds per 100,000. U.K. has half of Italy.

So according to best for Britain we have 6.6 ICU beds per person? Hmmm!

. The UK has less than a quarter of critical-care beds per capita than Germany - and only half that of Italy.

I think?

Sensualist eh? Edited too late, now we know of your secret kink for scientific reports.

I don't know, there are various common doctors speaking about it online and then of course their bosses trying to keep the panic from spreading when confronted about it by journalists. The situation they imply though seems to be the same. Those reports from doctors are full of emotions and personal feelings and cases they've personally encountered, as is natural, so they might not show the full picture; the fact that they're saturated and that they're applying the triage is true though.

Don’t think that is a secret. ;-)

And I suppose we just have to hope it is the unfortunate natural consequence of physical and mental fatigue from a reasonable mitigation of a viral outbreak and is not indicative of a much more dire situation.

Insurance - cover for when you don’t need it.
When you do they change their terms.
New Aviva Policies no longer covering for foreign office advisories announced at any time.
Other companies following.

Of course it is but when I say flu in terms abating that also applies to previous strains of Coronavirus. The chap I quoted suggested it would abate also.
As your chap seemed to be saying something different to every other expert I did a bit of googling to find out more. The quote you posted was from Accuweather whose CEO has been appointed by Trump to a role in his administration.
Makes you think that their interpretation of Nicholls’ comments might possibly be politically motivated to suit Trump’s message of downplaying it.
Hope it’s right though.

Sorry mate, what point are you making? Do you have better, more accurate numbers?
No not that bud, I'm not challenging the accuracy of the graph itself. You said "x amount per 100,000", BfB state "per capita" so per person. I think you are correct but the comment from BfB is wrong.
