Covid: Personal views

My thoughts? It is what it is. I am not mad, frustrated or anything really. It is a part of life that such things happen. I feel sorry for the government to an extent also as this is not something you can ever really prepare for properly. If we did then the whole country would be moaning like heck and simply would not go along with emergency drills, nor would they accept the cost of such drills or the disruption they would cause. They can't win no matter what they do.

You would have 99% of the country moaning about why we have to disrupt the flow of our lives to prepare for a situation they could barely give any credit to even being a possibility. What do you even drill for, a 100% death rate of a super contagious illness? 90% death rate of a virus that only affects x with y as a medium? Y ou just can't properly prepare.

Could it have been handled better? probably but look how many have? Everyone was pointing the finger at first saying "how come Germany are ok" then they weren't, Sweden the same and so on. My question to these people is "alright clever clogs what would you have done". I am pretty sure they would not have done better.

Those that think it is all some conspiracy, well how do you converse with that mindset really? you can't. Cold hard facts and logic are just discarded for their ill conceived idiotic conclusions. Their minds are made up.

Have consideration for others, think ahead and just carry on really are my over riding thoughts on it all.
 
My personal view is that most people aren't taking this seriously anymore,or have stopped giving a shit.I popped out earlier and our village was hammered,people everywhere.....loads stood in groups drinking take out coffee and carrying on as normal.

This is the shittest lock down ever!

C. Yeah nobody really know but whoever they are they made it to control the population, there are too many people on the planet. So they made it to kill millions and the old and sick.
Me. They are that clever and a bit stupid if you ask me and need a bit more planning>
C. Why.
Me. Well they came up with pretty decent Virus to run rampant around the world that they control, but then decided to locked down the world to stop the spread so that it didn't kill people.
C. Yeah it's man made mate.

What I don't understand is in march/April it was caused by 5G, and now I hear it doesn't actually, even exist, so does that mean I'm cool to buy a 5g phone?

I've been out today, supermarket was extremely quiet, and also the most stocked it's been since the first lockdown started, the roads were pretty much dead compared to 3-4 weeks ago, hardly anyone wandering about either. It resembled early April here today, with less in the supermarket.

On our flat complex (about 400 flats), there are very few vehicle movements compared to 3 weeks ago, before we went from tier 2 to 4 in 2 days.

The station car park at the back of our flat is back to about early May levels of cars (most of them are railway staff from what I can see), so I think it's very variable for locations, but we've been (locally) on serious case numbers for 3-4 weeks now (which seem to be subsiding eventually), so the message here seems to me to be getting through.
 
Some nitwit I overheard pointing at people in masks in the summer, shaking his head, saying it was all an experiment to get people to obey.

I mean, yeah. That is about the fairest description of society. I didn't notice much about him but he appeared to be wearing the same clothing as everyone else. Must have arrived at that decision entirely independantly. Nothing to do with wanting to fit in, or anything.

I suppose tho, people like this have a point. Just give into your nature. Who needs to think about life? People complicate this stuff all the time with rules and stuff. Pointless. Always interfering. Always looking to control you.

Maybe that's the problem with society. Too much control. Jobsworths want to run your mind for you. We should go back to being ourselves. Throw away the laws, the clothes, etc. Back to nature, live in the trees. Live like the chimps, our closest living relatives.

Now, I know what you're thinking, they do throw shit at each other, but only with good reason. Their lives are so violent a faceful of shit is usually the by far the best outcome to a dispute. The alpha males force other males to join them on hunts to traumatise and main females new to the group, to let them know what's what. They eat the brains of their rival's young 'uns. Conduct pointless murder sprees and wars that go on for years. Compared to that, a faceful of shit sounds like the good life, am i right?

Still, there'd be none of those wierd laws like you can't celebrate christmas, you can't lynch minorities, can't punch a child who makes an annoying noise. Get rid of all that. Let's just let it happen. It's the next step in our evolution. Go along with the flow, and you'll be fine. And if you find yourself in The Hague, remember, you were only following the Alpha's orders.
