At least the graphics are better. You can actually see the scorecard properly now.
Think I'll stick with the Accrington vs Oldham Carabao Cup game!At least the graphics are better. You can actually see the scorecard properly now.
There’s also Rangers vs Plzen on iPlayer.Think I'll stick with the Accrington vs Oldham Carabao Cup game!
Just had a very quick look. Seriously? I think it's horrific. Compare it to the test match scoreboard graphics. A simple banner in the top left corner showing the score and the amount of balls bowled. With the occasional narrow banner along the bottom of the screen showing the batsmen's scores and the bowler's stats. What they have is an assault on the senses! At least the graphics are better. Just like family members, it's all relative. Just because it's better, doesn't make it good. Far, far too fussy.View attachment 165046
This was what it was like last time round! It’s better, but from an incredibly low bar.
What the fuck is the point of the 100? I end up dividing the balls bowled by 6 to get it to old style overs, and then dividing the score by that derived numbers of owners, to get a perspective on how the batting team is doing
I was talking generically about the competition, not a specific match that I’m not watchingNo need for any calculations this match is done already.
Same. Why couldn't they make it a number of balls divisible by 6 (96 or 102)?"Sets" of 5 is nonsense. What the fuck is the point of the 100? They’ve tried to make it metric.Sam

Cricket is not a metric sport. They’ve tried to make it metric.
It’s funny though as they all think about runs per over and then have to change the language to runs per ball.
Hope Warner now appreciates that if you adopt the Billy Big Bollox persona you need to be able to walk the walk.

For the first test, I think it will be:
1. Crawley
2. Duckett
3. Pope
4. Root
5. Brook
6. Stokes (C)
7. J Smith (WK)
8. Carse
9. Atkinson
10. Archer/Wood
11. Tongue/Bashir
Sadly, I don’t think we can risk playing Archer and Wood in the same side.
You’re not the target audienceSam

We have to if we want to win the Ashes, it's that simple really
Pace with Bounce, the good old chin music scares all the top batsmen, even the Aussies in their own backyard don't like it around their ears
What’s happened to Ollie Stone? He used to be pretty rapid. You have to manage bowlers work loads though especially those as fragile as Wood and Archer.
If you play both in the first test you have to be prepared that you may need to rest both of them at the same time and therefore leaving England short on pace. So it's a gamble.
