I was thinking that Ronaldo was an alternative to Kane. I think we're all assuming that. Then why are we reported as being interested in Ronaldo but not with a transfer fee? Of course everyone wants to have something for nothing but I would have thought that if the Kane deal fell through then Ronaldo would make a lot of sense for City. I'd be all over Ronaldo even at a low fee. So it struck me that it could be Kane and Ronaldo? That's unlikely isn't it?

Does this mean the Kane deal is dead?
