It's not hard to ignore the fact that in a lot of ways it doesn't make sense, our team is based on pressing and running - does Ronaldo even do this anymore?

He's a siege weapon of course, but you still need to 'wheel him into place'.....

88 goals and assists in his last 90 games!

Only de Bruyne and Rodri have won the ball in the final third more than CRonaldo in our squad since the start of the 2020-21 season.

He’s missed just 60 games through injury since 2009 (Kun missed 78 in the last four years; Kane missed 56 in the last four years).
No doubting his talents, although I do expect these sorts of stats ratios to fall in the Premier League, as it would do for Messi.

What’s with all the flap and doom and gloom on here this morning !

this is the day we sign Ronaldo you fuckers cheer up :)
Last night the gifs were out mocking the red scum as it was a done deal...this really is classic thread stuff.

He was the best left winger we had since probably Petrov....I don't think you could ever call him a Snake.
Correct with your first point, although I'd shout out Craig Bellamy, but as soon as he started mouthing off once he had left, then I think all Blues have every right to say whatever they like about him, the fact that he was a fine player and great for us at the time isn't the point.

Seems it's a bit of a myth.. someone shared stats a couple of pages back that he has more posession recoveries last year in the front third than everyone in our team bar KDB and rodri.

It was not before all that, PSGs president was saying as late as last night that they are not interested.
Two days ago they were saying Mbappé was not for sale. Yesterday Mbappé was not for sale for a cent less than PSG paid Monaco for him.

If Real up their offer by €10m, that matches what PSG paid Monaco, which makes the move a distinct possibility, & leaves PSG a Striker short. In football, anything can happen & where City are concerned it generally does. \0/
