I think you will find you are not allowed to impede the keeper releasing the ball. It's supposed to be a yellow caard offence.

Said in the match thread that we were a victim of zonal marking, and palace came with a good game plan. Unlucky with the first goal with Kev missing his header, but the second we should have done better for.

Knocking on the door before HT, and Pep got them back in the dressing room and worked his magic and the second half we let loose. Once we got the early goal back the result was never in doubt for me.

Put Walker in a back 3 and Gomez lwb/Cancelo rwb. Will sacrifice a forward, but very solid defence.

At times that could work but if we’ve learnt anything from Pep in his time as a coach, he would rather pack conventional midfielders as opposed to sacrificing his back line… we are suffering with laportes absence, he breaks the lines better than any of our other CBs and we are getting exposed, at times
