In my opinion Mancini was let down in January. We were 5 points clear and he asked to strengthen the squad for the final push and was refused the funds. Had we of brought in more strength in depth in January when Mancini asked for the funds we would still be top and would have the won before the rags visit in April.
I don’t agree, he's been given ample in previous windows to cope. The problem he's got is he has little or no trust in half the players he's bought.
I think his comment regarding winning the game on Saturday if Aguero was fit is incredibly hollow when you have £100m of strikers either playing or sat on the bench. Would you continue to blindly throw money at it if you owned the club?
Which 100m worth of strikers?

Balotelli - Who shows his ability in glimpses
Dzeko - I don't even need to comment
Tevez - Unfit, off pace.

Previous windows? Teams parking the bus wasn't a problem for us in previous seasons. In fact, we were the ones that did our fair share of bus parking.

Mancini knows we need a winger. He wouldn't have looked at Hazard if that wasn't the case. He wouldn't have doggedly pursued Hazard. He wouldn't have said he bought Nasri because he can play on the wing or centrally (which we come to find out, he isn't great on the wing without a Fabregas to pick out his runs continuously).

I agree. Matt, cash spent does not necessarily equate to end product. Dzeko doesn't play very well when he doesn't have space and Balotelli has incredible potential but is still young and tends to be inconsistent. Our best striker fucked us over very early in the season and we have therefore been over-reliant on Aguero in his debut season with city.

So this squad isn't good enough then?
If Man United can win it with the squad they have, we should be more than capable of with the squad we have. In my opinion, of course.
United have got a better squad than us though.

Apart from in central midfield where we have nine players: Yaya Silva Nasri Milner Barry de Jong Pizzarro Hargreaves and Razak. Nine! Okay so Hargreaves and Razak wouldn't figure so seven. Outside central midfield our squad and fringe players are not title winning quality. United's are! If Kolo and Savic were at United, Evans and Smalling would still be chosen ahead of them, if Vidic and Ferdinand couldn't play. Their wing options are Valencia Nani Young Giggs Park, ours are Johnson and that's it. We have one fantastic/outstanding/one of the very best strikers in the world in the truly amazing Sergio "Kun" Agüero (I love him!), then we have Džeko Mario and some fat wanker who went missing for five months; the Rags have three strikers who'd sweat blood for their manager who happen to be very good players too.

I think if both teams line up full strength, our starting XI would arguably be better than theirs. But squad-wise they are ahead of us and squads are what win the title because, really, how often do you have a strongest XI on the pitch?

BTW I'm not a Women.

However, I am torn.

I've thought long and hard about this. It's torn me apart.

However, Roberto I have to let you go (breaks down and crys), even though I will aways love you and you will always be in my thoughts.

Time is a great healer though, and I know one day I will find somebody else just as 'Special'.

Thankfully the decision regarding his contract will be made by professionals after in-depth analysis and not by fickle fans.

If the owners don't give him a new contract will they fickle too ?

If City were a fan run club, i think the managers would be changed after every loss ;)

-- Mon Apr 02, 2012 2:05 pm --

Did i imply that anywhere?

United are currently on track to record the second highest points tally in premier league history, we need to forget this idea that they have a below par squad.
