And this, in my view, is why we need a very competent alternative. Someone who could play a majority of games, if required. We can't let our season rely on the performances of a 34 year old player.
Do you seriously believe that Pep and Txiki will let this happen ? Well yes you are inferring this.
And the Flapper of The Year Award goes to Homar.Okay, now I think that you must have a problem comprehending English. In that statement that you quoted, show me where I expressed, explicitly or otherwise, any doubt that we would sign another right-back.

I suggest you look back at your posts on this subject. You have been habouring on for some time that we can`t rely on a 34 year old to become a regular.WE ALL FUCKING KNOW THIS INCLUDING OUR MANAGEMENT so stop the fucking flapping. We will find another competent player to also play in this position.Pep has stated it time and time again that he needs to rotate players. He knows that,we know that, but still you keep fucking flapping about it.You did not answer the challenge that I posed to you. Anyway, this is now becoming a waste of my time.
Did I miss the photo of him holding up a blue shirt?
I read a while back that he has a clause in his contract that it can be terminated if he chooses, kind of like a reverse of when clubs have a additional year option on a player, I could be wrong...Don't understand that, how does that benefit Juventus?
After 1 season there?Only thing I can think is that he's due a loyalty bonus from Juve that is likely to be due at the end of this month. Say he's due £3m, they're probably happy to just cancel the contract and let him leave.
He's agreed a two year deal with City apparently. We're currently talking to Juve but if there is a fee it'll be nominal. Think there was some sort of clause in Alves' contract that lets him leave this summer. No idea about how/when City will announce it but i can't imagine it'll be long.
This has been on the cards for a while (was first mooted back in Spring) and I for one am absolutely over the moon. Excellent addition even if it's a short term one.
