And that's exactly why they're offloading Dani Alves right when they should, for 5 million too. If you go watch Juve's league games on fullmatchesandshows you'll see Dani Alves isn't all what you see against Monaco. The intelligence, the technique, the class is there but his physicality and pace are far from his old self in Barcelona 3 or 4 years ago.
I'm not against Dani Alves, I welcome someone like him in the team, he'll be a very valuable addition if he's brought in for rotation and for his experience but Pep should finish the signing of priority fullbacks for both flanks this week before they go to other teams. Since yesterday I'm reading that Chelsea are all over Sandro and are ready to pay big money. We should be working on Sandro and players like Sandro instead.
Since you brought up Bayern, go ask Bayern fans how they feel about Xabi Alonso that Pep took to Bayern. Ask if they care about Alonso's experience or if they all hated him because of how slow he was because of his age but how Pep kept playing him anyway. They all hate Pep with a passion for neglecting their defence and paying for it. Sam Lee and all other accounts said the owners gave Pep the greenlight to buy whoever he needs. I hope to see some serious business done this week with our first choice defensive targets.
I'm sorry but that's all complete shite, and there's no other way of saying it.
They are letting him go because he wants to leave, which is Juventus' policy. If Dybala said he wanted to leave, they'd let him, it doesn't mean they should let him go.
Secondly, I've seen plenty of Juve matches in Serie A & Copa Italia over the season, and to say Alves' pace and physicality has gone is just factually wrong.
but Pep should finish the signing of priority fullbacks for both flanks this week before they go to other teams.
This is just a painfuly stupid line of thinking. Just because the 2 year, £5m deal gets done before the 5+, £40m+ deal gets done doesn't mean one is prioritised, it just means deals move at different speeds.
Also, your last paragraph about Xabi Alonso is complete and utter bullshit, and you need look no further than the reception Alonso got when he retired. Not to mention, Guardiola never neglected the defence and never had full control over incoming transfers, something that every Bayern Munich fan knows, so they would never blame Guardiola even if the defence was neglected (which it was not). @Maldeika might be around to prove this wrong, Bayern fans hating Alonso is complete bullshit, not to mention the fact that Ancelotti played him almost as much this year (only 1 game less), so...do they hate Ancelotti and Pep, or just Pep?
To be honest, the absurdity of that last paragraph pretty much confirms your opinions aren't based in reality at all. The "Alves has lost his legs" was nonsense, the flapping about Sandro signing Chelsea was funny, the "why is Alves being signed before Walker goes elsewhere" was stupid, but the "Alonso is public enemy #1 in Munich" paragraph took things to Trumpian levels of alternative facts.
