We need a few game manipulateors anyway and he's as good as anyone out there. Sorry guys but we ain't winning no CL until we become a lot more cynical and ****ish. Fact.

Everyone needs to get over this whole him being a c*** thing. Every top team in the league has one or two it's about time we get a hot headed prick in the squad.
 
I'm probably not the first to ask this but when he came out at the start of the month and started singing Pep's praises do you think he was aware at the time of what might be happening right now?

He did and Abidal confirmed it, Eric's cousin in the end provided part of his liver as Abidal said he couldn't ask that of Dani. Alves is an outstanding professional, teammate and player - you will love him
 
I thiught when he went to Juve his peformance would start to dip somewhat but if anything he looks better than ever and watching him this season he has been outstanding. Reading that Pep wants him as competition for Walker, well that is a contradiction if ive heard one Walker is and never will be in Alves class
 
So we're now waiting for a formal agreement between Juve and Alves over the dissolution of their contract and then he can move

Signed, sealed and waiting to be delivered apparently. Lets hope it works out. I like some others fear he may not be up to the pace and rigours of the ELP.
On the other hand if he can manage a golden season or even half a season it might be worth it. We live in hope.

Even if he only played in the CL he makes us much better
With new players that pep wants we will be keeping the ball more and recovering quicker,i don't think he will be run ragged very often,it's time to look at him as part of the jigsaw and not so much on his own,if that makes sense to anyone but me
 
1) what's my post history got to do with anything ? I've probably been a member on here longer than a proportion of the forum have 'followed' city. I'm a lurker for transfer talk largely. Still makes me laugh how every years blues convince themselves over a transfer obsession with many players they've never seen play i.e. Fernando, Mangala, ederson... ousmane dabo ;)

2) it's not just that he's a twat ala Bellamy, he's a) a diver ala Sergio Ramos and b) gone out of his way to slag city off ala buffoon. I'm sure he said '' he would never sign for city, there all about money" in the early take over years?

3) Jesus international team mates - yes that's my point. He will be telling him to go to Madrid in years to come to win the ballon d'or

The same posters will get on his back as soon as he starts slagging us off in a year or two.
