Cash payments are irrelevant for PSR so makes no difference when the payment is made. PSR is the value of the registration spread across the length of the contract.

I do wonder if City are being cute here with these so called 'in the know journalists'. Technically, we are not in negotiations - because it's already agreed.
It does feel like a classic Txiki type deal. I could be wrong (don't tell Mrs Left Peg I said that) - time will tell.

Agree they’re a shitstain of a club, but presumably they’re paying whatever they owe in whatever instalments they’ve agreed or they’d be getting sued by every club they owe money to
