Nunes and Gonzalez made sense to me. Especially Gonzalez. As we were sucking badly around December Januarythey all made sense to me at the time tbh

I wouldn't say that yet however there is a huge elephant in the room at the moment.
Until 115 is done with there will always be a shadow of doubt in some players and agents heads.
If I was a footballer, and neutral as a supporter, I would definitely be having doubts and asking questions to the club if they were.interested in me.
Agreed. Rodrygo on one wing and an inverted forward in foden or bobb on the other side with a fullback providing the widthmakes no sense to invest in him. Would rather pivot to Rodrygo and move Foden back inside over Olmo (as well as about 10 other attacking mids instead)

The club probably know the result by now and can pass that info on before moving for a player, this happens every transfer window and we rarely get the players that fans demand we move for.

My only real issue with Phillips was the fee - I liked him when it was touted as a bargain relegation deal

That or it stinks of panicking with Wirtz going to Bayern and us telling De Bruyne we aren’t renewing his contract..Highly doubt he's coming, makes no sense from the player side.
Seems more like a smoke screen.
