David Silva...

Silva has the best first touch I've ever seen.

He's got the best vision I've ever seen.

He's got the best weight of pass I've ever seen.

I've said it before, but if he could finish and had electric pace he'd be a better looking Lionel Messi!

But still no song, travesty of the highest order sort it out. Back on track Silva is the best player to ever wear our kit, a true touch of class, Ribery is a classless winger.

Ribéry cqn do everything that Silva can on the left, and more. What are these "so many" differences?

You've just been told over the last few pages from those who watch him in the flesh every week what Silva can do that Ribery can't. And you don't seem to realise that Silva's best position is actually in the hole or off the striker, but we play him wide on both sides because he's so damn good he can run games from wide, cutting inside. Comparing him to Ribery is daft because they are different players. He's stronger, more aggressive and strikes the ball better, but he hasn't got anything like the balance, touch, grace or vision of Silva.

I don't think there's a City fan in the world would swap Silva for Ribery, great player though Ribery is.

I'd swap Silva for Messi but struggling to think of anyone other than him.
I wouldn't. It'd be great to have them both, but if it was Silva or Messi, I'd have Silva. He's a blue. Fuck everyone else.
He typifies City. He's an unappreciated gem. No one wanted him at the time, or even gave him that much credit. He came to us. We deserve eachother. A bit like how it was with Kinkladze.

Thak The Lord for that!

There is no player - that I know of - that I would rather have at City than David Silva. He makes the team tick in a way that none of our other players - including Samir and YaYa - is able to. We miss him when he is out of the team more than anybody, apart from maybe Fernandinho.

His vision is breathtaking at times and his 360 degree turns are a thing of beauty. He's also not averse to carrying out his share of defensive duties. Indeed, in a recent 'list' on the OS, Merlin was fifth for number of interceptions.

As great a player as Ribéry is, there is no way that he could offer us anything near to what Spanish Dave does, though he obviously has qualities that Merlin doesn't.

The Cleverley mention was more an homage to "C Velz"

No one wanted him? Are you kidding? He was a Spanish international and one of their brightest young stars. Man United dropped out of the bidding and he was on everybody's radar. It's just that we got the beautiful little scamp.

It's time for Merlin to open the full bag of tricks.

We want to win this one and Merlin's magic will be one of the keys.

No one wanted him comparative to what he is. I mean he is in the top 5 players in the world. He turned down Man U then they never really went in for him again. Real Madrid were kind of interested in him but I think Mourinho was against it. Still, by rights, we shouldn't have been able to get our hands on him. He's massively underrated. Best player in the league at the very least.

It's obvious why he came to us :-

United d the chance to sign this little wizard the summer previously, and pulled out because they deemed him too light weight.

They also had the chance to take villa from Valencia , and didn't take it as he had little re-sale value.

This is fact by the way

Hold your head up you magnificent man. Every bit as good as anyone in that Barca side (obvious excepted, and no, I still wouldn't swap him).

Best player on the pitch for either team , hes the best player to have worn the famous shirt

Fucking quality.

It annoys me when people say who's better Silva,Mata or Ozil. Them two are great but couldn't lace his boots.
The non city football experts like Crystal and velz will probably slate me but thats my opinion.

If he could shoot better and get 20 goals a season he'd be up their with messi for me.

Can't believe he plays for us
