His personal terms and agreement of the player will have been all sewn up before the official bid went in thats where the work has been being done
Yep. They say it's still about whether Wolfsburg accept our current offer or not.As Cilla would have said if she was alive...Surprise Surprise
I don't see how anyone can disagree with the view that the planning and delivery of our player acquisition strategy has been inept this summer.
Who's responsible? Personnel?
I do question how Gary Cooke was able to recruit players like Silva and Toure yet these so called Barcelona football gurus can't do the same even though were in a much stronger and more attractive position now
We notice it more because it is our transfer but if you look at many other transfers, this 11th hour stuff often happens. The media hype it up too because it adds drama.Yeah.
Why can't we ever have an easy transfer without the 11th hour bollocks?
Are clubs that desperate to paint us as the bad guys?
Piles of cash and a guaranteed start certainly helped him. We are not in a position to offer the latter anymore, and rightly so. Even the piles of cash are much less of a tempter, as most players we are linked with are already being paid enormous amounts and are established at their clubs.I don't see how anyone can disagree with the view that the planning and delivery of our player acquisition strategy has been inept this summer.
