Assist #24 for De Bruyne. Kindly remind me how many SIlva has this season again.

He's nothing like silva seems more like milner to me and has been far more effective from wide. He's be a good signing but not worth over £25mill.

He has 9 goals and 17 assists in the Bundesliga this seasons. His numbers are higher than Robben's and Müller's even if the two still beat him when you take a per minute quote as he always plays. What does he have to do so people accept he simply is good. He is 23.

He is not a playmaker - more a chance creator. And in the winter break he really improved his shot efficiency, too.

He has a great mentality. Does not go down in bigger matches.

I didn't say he was shit just that it's silly to compare him to silva as they are completely different players, he is more like milner in our team but with a more end product. That is why I also think he will be better from a wide position possibly in a front 3 for us because his final ball is great.

How much is he worth in your opinion ?

I think he's worth around €40M, but it would take €50-60M to get him in 2016. No way they sell him this summer.

Remember you're not dealing with a normal poor German club here. Volkswagen seem determined to establish Wolfsburg as the second force in German football and they will increase their sponsorship deals as far as ffp allows. They've spent big on Gustavo, de Bruyne and Schürrle in recent years and that was without CL income.

Wolfsburg will not sell this season - and I doubt that de Bruyne will want to transfer end of the season. For him Wolfsburg is a great platform right now. He is the star and they play CL next season and for the title. But after next season he probably will...

He is young - but he holds his data for some time now. He is no one-hit-wonder or somebody with a lucky streak. In the Belgium national team he is outperforming Hazard for the last two seasons now. If the numbers stay like they are for this and the next season I do not see a transfer for less than 50 million EUR.

If he would not have been at Chelsea the story would be different. Then he might look for the "better" club now. But for him the surrounding in Wolfsburg is perfect at the moment. The big contracts do not run away.

Why was he bombed out at Chelski?

Look at his hair - after all I heared he is a real redhead... He probably clashed with Mourinho. He is not an easy character. With a coach like Hecking who is "fatherlike" and a team with elder players more of the type calm and wise it seems to work. He for sure did not clash with Mourinho because of not being eager etc.

Mourihno is an idiot for not playing this guy while Chelsea are void of creative players outside of Hazard and Fabregas....

How are they for strikers? Would they take edin back?

I do think they need a good striker but I am not sure they'd want Edin back for a number of reasons (or at least he will be in the list but not on top)

first, Edin has his poorest ever season. He is also 29

second, for the wages and fee that Wolfburg are likely to shell out there are other options, younger with more potential or older players who have done better than Edin

Looks like Wolfsburg is in for Lukaku. May they be willing to sell to fund the move? They just bought Schurrle so perhaps he's De Bruyne's replacement.

They have Bas Dost who has 13 goals in 14 appearances so far this season, he is 6'5, good in the air, decent finisher... Poor first touch and naff passer, remind you of anyone..Doubt they want a carbon copy of what they already have

Pretty long interview with him in the latest issue of the "11 Freunde magazine".

He clearly stated that he would rather play for the second team in the league and be a sure starter rather than playing for Bayern and warm the bench.

Guess that's one of the reasons why it didn't work out at Chelsea either.

He was excellent in he San Siro last night

Fantastic player. Agree with you re last night. The lad breaks his neck trying to get into the box. Couple of petulant moments but think he was frustrated sloppiness from his team mates. Definitely the kind of player we need.

+ Bendtner, it would be three strikers in the "same" mould.

Bas Dost or not they are a decent side.

Nasri's replacement.

De Bruyne would be a big upgrade, I think he's brilliant. Mourinho dropped a clanger selling him.

De Bruyne is a very good player but in Wolfsburg he plays as an AMF behind the Striker (Who is Bas Dost). Also there are two DMF behind him.
If he comes to City, and we continue playing 4-4-2 I don't thing that he will be the some good.
