De Bruyne?

the difference is that Aguero scores regularly, Navas never.
thanks for proving what an idiot you are..
Sergio is the best striker in world football Navas has scored 9 goals for City with 23 odd assists...don't make up shit so you can moan ..that tbh is really fucked up.

oh and for the highlighted bit. pls google Navas goals for man city and tell us just exectly how many goals he didn't score.

Navas has always been extremely hard working for the team and his team mates. My issues with him are he rarely tries to beat his man and his crossing 90% of the time hits the first man! Good squad player though.
Completely disagree, I thought he was outstanding today and indeed all 3 matches so far. Worked his socks off, won the ball back numerous times and was a threat the whole time. VERY undervalued on here. Oops just realised its the kdb thread

I think people dislike Navas because they're not sure what his job is.

Some people expect him to be hugging the touchline, beating his man, whipping in a cross that a burly CF heads in. We're just not that team.

He's great at creating space for people like Silva and even Yaya to shine, stretching play and adding to the way we attack.

My problem with him is simply that his decision making and final ball need improving if he's going to be considered top class.

That said Pellers obviously thinks a great deal of him and he's the man in the chair so to speak
like I said, thats why theyre footballing idiots.

So if KDB signs he won't occupy 2 players and will have a similar inability to either beat a man or score a goal?
No fair point - just saying it wouldn't be the end of the World if he didn't.
Navas can and does beat his man. The problem is, if he does, who do you suggest he crosses to? I think he's very much under instruction from the manager and that's why he doesn't do it as often as he could.

imo the problem with navas is he is tactically one dimensional. he can only ever receive the ball, can never cut inside because he has a non-existant left foot. also coupled with his lack of end product like today when he hit straight to howard instead of passing to an unmarked aguero would have surely cost us if it was a CL game. for a decent opposition he is one dimensional a hence they can easily tactically shut down our entire right side. de bruyne on the other hand is dynamic, unpredictable and can do what navas does and also things navas can only dream of that is why he is a huge upgrade.

IMO I don't know which game you watched today
