It was a long time ago and to be fair to him we were a lovable shambles. Anyway, he has battled cancer and won so good on yer Geoff.
 
If Kevin De Bruyne is bought (circa. 30-40m) he will be one of City’s greatest ever signings. The Belgian international led the assists table in the Bundesliga with 20 to his name and has also chipped in with 10 goals. His performances helped Wolfsburg to stay 2nd in the Bundesliga with a 3-point advantage over third-placed Borussia Mönchengladbach. The ex-Chelsea man was also voted the best attacking midfielder in the league ahead of the likes of Thomas Muller (!?!) and Mario Gotze (?!?). I have watched him play on a number of occasions; he is easily one of the best attacking midfielders in Europe. Period.

Sorry but over here in the UK we call them menstrual cycles ... but then again its not really a bike.
 
last I heard he was still waiting to see what Wolfsburg offered as they are in the CL next season. Suspect it's more out of courtesy though.
 
The quieter it is the better it is for us. If the media get a sniff of a player "snubbing" City it is all over the back pages. If City have been outbid or aren't happy with wage demands etc, then there's usually a statement from the club to the press informing them that we've walked away. When it's quiet, in my opinion it's positive for us. Even the Pogba signing is quiet, with random fabricated stories about Barca or Real suddenly becoming interested, as if they've only just realised who Pogba is!
 
Makes you realise how good this lad is when you listen to all the hype around Firmino, who's on the back of a much lesser season in the same league, at the same age.

Thought the same thing.

De Bruyne should be treated like a God by the media, considering how much they're raving about a far inferior player in Firminho.
