Is it 100% sure that VW will reduce funding? I know that the company overall is aiming to save 5 billion, but majority will come from adjustments in manufacturing.
Still, could be tempting to cut some sponsorship costs too, perhaps.

VW are withdrawing some of the funds though and don't forget we managed to get Dzeko out of Wolfsburg.

I reckon he might just stay one more season and see what happens as I think he will want to stay settled after a good few years of being loaned our here, there and everywhere.
