De Bruyne?

De Bruyne said: "My agent already spoke with City? Informally, yes.

"I have not decided anything. I have time. No stress for me. We still have one match and I leave for a holiday.

"In that period, the clubs will maybe talk to each other, and my agent will talk, but for me there is no hurry."(via Daily Star)

Sky actually have a video of what he says and he does not even say it like that. Looks like some naughty re-engineering of his quotes ny the Daily Star

I went to search for the video and the 2/3 of the top searches link reports to Arsenal and United spending £50M on him. When were these two teams ever really linked with him?

Im not sure where he fits into the team if we are going for Pogba , Sterling and De Bruyne ?

Towards the end of last season Manuel was tweaking the system to move towards more of a 4-3-3 with Aguero , Milner and Silva the attacking outlets.

So Next season we could shape up as follows:

JH
PB VK EM AK

Fernandinho
Pogba Yaya

Sterling Aguero Silva

So unless this is to be scrapped and we move back to 4-2-2-2 , he doesn't get a starting spot for me, unless he takes Sterlings place and he is backup, but that then deprives us of a pacy outlet.

Is he the alternative to Pogba?

Hart
Zab
Vinny
Mangala
Alex sandro
yaya
Pogba
De bruyne
sterling
silva
aguero

Gotta feeling bony is gonna get upset quickly next season though as everything seems set up for one up front with pace and creativity behind.

50% of DeBruyne's crosses & set pieces would be wasted on Aguero & perfect for Bony, so I recon he'll be the opposite of upset.

If he plays neville? Cant imagine certainly de bruyne and maybe even sterling would sign without making sure they would play alot of our games?

Genuine question what will this lad bring to the table?

I've seen next to nothing of him (World Cup last year aside which he looked decent but not standout) if I'm honest but obviously hear great things.

If anyone could help us out with a type of player he is like in the Prem with his particular good attributes would be appreciated??

Is he going to be a game changer signing like Silva, Aguero, Yaya...?

I some ways he reminds me of Steven Gerrard when he used to play the #10 role behind Torres but with less defensive contribution:

Not really blessed with great pace

Can pick a pass but not as silky on the ball as Silva

Really good crosser of the ball

Can shoot from distance with left and right foot

Cheers for that...let's hope we get him in.

Does this mean we 'might' score from a corner too?
