Good point. Still don't think he's the best tackler in the world though.

Surely, now that Jimmy's gone, our main priority, in midfield, is to buy someone who can give out the odd dig, when the opposition have the ball. Yaya can't be arsed, and Fernando simply isn't up to it, when it comes to tackling back.

Felt sorry for Fernandinho, at times last season, it was like king Kanute against the tide, for the poor bloke, when we lost possession

So overrated. All of his goals and assists come from counters or from areas where he has nothing but space. Not sure he's creative enough to survive our starting 11. He's not got enough pace to become a WC winger either. A goal scoring number 10 maybe but I'd much rather have silva there. IMO, he'd just be another Jovetic-type signing, minus the injuries. Not worth what we would end up paying.

I don't personally rate him as well, hoping we don't get him.
 
I am a bit skeptical about him being our crack player. Its all good if we sign him and still aim for some other world class, tested and proven player but I'm not sure where we can get such a player. If there's anything we so badly need this summer to oust the chavs, its not a new poster boy (this is also important and has its place) but a pacey, skillful, scoring and tested player who can consistently deliver when there's no way to break the opposition

How did the Bundesliga overrate him, seeing as they named him their best player? Who was better? Why does marc wilmots continue to rate him with all the talent in the pipeline at Belgium, same manager that rates our own youth product pretty well and hands our captain the armband for the national team?

Oh did I mention that all of his goals and assists didn't just come from counters or areas with lots of space?

Since when is a player finding space to shoot from distance, and score a negative? One thing we really lack is players with the ability to shoot from distance outside of Yaya and the odd Kola goal.

Not sure he's creative enough? He offers plenty of ways to get the ball inside the box as mentioned earlier and created more chances than any of our current midfielders but he's not creative enough?

He was sold for £18M and has raised his value, his current club sees that value and want his contract to reflect that and potentially build around him.

He wasn't a Jose signing and was made available, given 3 starts before going out on loan isn't enough to discount what he can do in the PL as a young player.
 
I have no concerns over Sterling Dipperton is infested with scum bags, he will be an excellent signing for whoever buys. This guy isnt good enough.

What kind of dickhead support are we attracting these days ?
 
It is laughable that people don't think KDB is good enough for this team, i'd like to to know who they consider to be good enough. We have been carrying Nasri who only play when he is in a good mood, KDB is twice the player Nasri is at the moment.

Dickheads support?, WUMs?, or a bit of both? He had an exceptional season its true and hardly missed a game, playing in a team in which just about everybody had a great season. The first game back after the winter break Wolfsburg ripped Bayern apart and De Bruyne was central on that night. It is true to say that you get a lot more space in the Bundesliga, but its laughable to suggest that its a tin-pot league. The standard of football is excellent by and large, even if the league was dominated by one team.

I tend to agree with you although calling people who disagree with you dickheads is over the top it's all about opinions and debate it's what we are here for
