At this stage, after all the messing about by Wolfsburg and the fee demanded by them; it'd be wise to stick a £57m offer in for Antoine Griezmann. At least in that scenario, we're getting a player in his natural position.

We bring in Griezmann, play him on the left, shift Sterling over to the right (where he played in Suarez's last season) and we're sorted. Two proper wingers, Aguero in the middle. Silva behind them.

As much as I'd love KDB, at this point, I'd equally love it for us to tell Wolfsburg where to stick it.

And if we don't actually want Griezmann, but actually want DeBruyne ?

Would it still be wise then ?

I dont give a shit how much we pay. The same people posting here that say were paying to much are the same people who when we didnt pay more to get hazzard etc were moaning about it. Pay the fee get the best young talent signed and we are set for many years to come. Big players bring other world class players.

I agree but the slight difference with Hazzard was he made it clear he was leaving and was happy to do so. But this ginger haired **** just cant make his mind up.

I'm more likely to believe that BILD are spewing absolute gash trying to 1. Push the price up for the little Englanders and 2. Try to keep him in the league if at all possible.
