December 6th 1969 My earliest City memory. Whats your's?

The FA or Scottish Cup were not live on tv until the mid 70's.
FA cup finals replays live. Can mind watching Chelsea v Leeds replay.
All the fa cup finals we're live in the 60s I watched them all on TV,except ours in 69 I was at Wembley that day.

22 March 1974 first game - Man City 1 Coventry 0. My entire family were reds so when the neighbour took me to see City my family then took me the following week to see Man Utd 2 York City 1 (in the second division) to try and convert me but it was too late. My 3 recollections were
'1' - United were on match of the day the week I saw City and City were on MoD the week I saw United and I was gutted because I thought I would see myself on TV
'2' City goal was scored by Colin Bell. Turns out it was Dennis Tueart and my memory was wrong
'3' until I researched this I always thought the United game was the week before the City game and my family took me to Utd first. I was wrong there as well
Also it was March 75.

first game i actually remeber live
6th December 1975 . Man City 0 QPR 0 . Sat in the platt lane with my older brother.
funny enough. i went to the same fixture the following year .. which also ended 0-0

3-2 defeat by Leeds at Maine Road Nov 77.
My dad wasn't into football (he was musician) so my Aunty took me on the Rothwells coach from Heywood.
I was 8 and by going that day my younger brothers and now our children have all followed suit and are all staunch blues.

Rubbish FA Cup Finals were live on BBC going back to the 1946 final.

My user name.
City versus Newcastle, abandoned just before half time due to the rain and heavily waterlogged field, with a 1-1 scoreline.
I think Frank Clark played at left full back for Newcastle that day, and City played towards the Platt Lane, where I usually went with my Dad. A principal memory is Mike Summerbee being tackled on the Main Stand side of the ground, and, due to the conditions, seemingly sliding all the way down the touchline, and finishing up at the corner flag at the tunnel in the corner.
The referee blew for what all concerned in the ground was half time, but then an announcement came over the PA shortly after that the game had been abandoned.
