What about giving Denayer a shot? If we don't get anyone in im not a fan of playing players out of position!

Denayer looks a fantastic prospect but first team football is a giant leap.Saying that,he really couldn't do much worse than our two last Sunday.

Went off injured for the EDS though,i don't know the injury or extent of such.

This man will be a disaster. For god sake the answers sitting on the bench. Get Rodwell in there now! Will we never show a bit of imagination ever again?

And you know he'll be a disaster how exactly??? By the 5 minutes of viewing on youtube you did or was it a quick wikipedia search?

I don't watch players on you tube or search wikipedia . Decent defender 5 or 6 years ago. Watching him over the last couple of seasons tells me he's on the decline.

La liga team of the season 2013

AS is bizarrely claiming that City could sign Ajax's Toby Alderweireld (24, DF) and send him to Atlético on loan in exchange for Demichelis.

AS goes on to say that Atlético would prefer to own Alderweireld, who they are after to replace Demichelis, but City would rather loan him.

That would be a good move, experience in the short term and a quality young player gaining experience for us long term.

This isn't la liga we're talking about. He's as slow as Garcia and smaller too. Every team in the top flight has huge center forwards now. At 32 his chance to test himself here has surely passed him by.
He did very well against Dortmund as well, but I guess they are a pretty slow team as well. Can't be as fast as cardiff.

Rodwell is the best shout for me. Sure I seen an interview of his a few years ago with him saying he sees himself becoming a centre half. Feels its his best position.

Not seen much of him but Manuel must rate him

agreed, and on that basis we can judge him and the manager - at this stage I cannot believe the negativity (well actually I can, it is like this in here all the time)

This is gonna be a deadline day transfer now. Gutted we didn't get him in earlier, i pray to god nastasic is back for us this weekend.

Why is it taking ages to put to bed? I appreciate that there were some differences over the fee but surely it is fairly straight forward.............isn't it?

Think AM trying to get in a replacement first

If we can't beat Hull at home with what we have then the season is as good as over now
