Derby post match thread 10/09/2016

Its like if a manager or the media dont pick up and mention incidents it never gets shown or media pick up on it! Elbows spitting Rooney fouling half a dozen times before a card comes out and penalties we should of had on Nolito and Otomendi.

All about Bravo incedent and nowt else, even reporters in the after match press conference asking Moaninho about it and he couldnt wait to go on and on about it! Now if a reporter asked Pep he would say he either not talking about referees or he hasn't seen it.

If Otamendi or Stones had let that ball bounce like Blind did I would have put my fist through the fucking wall, that was atrocious defending. You can say Bailly should have won the initial ball but he's not going to win every ball like that over the course of a match, never mind a season and it's up to the other centre back to at least challenge for the second ball and slow the attack down, if they're unable to win it clearly. Blind had 2 choices - put it into safety before KDB got the touch (easy enough, he was favourite for the ball) or if he didn't think that was possible to take him down and defend the free kick afterwards.

The ball was in the air a long time. Any centre back worth their salt wins it over Kelechi.

They were both at fault for me. The ball was in the air for a long time. For bailly not to attack it, put off kelechi or even be touch tight is piss poor. And Blind was just static and slow, like he was for the second. Christ, they need a lot of work. Another spending spree I think.

How many times have you watched Elneny? He's one of our most intelligent central midfielders! Especially compared to Coquelin and Ramsey.
Lol I think you need to watch a bit more of him my friend.
Xhaka does need to tame it occassionally but like you said he provides that quality with his passing, awareness, technique whilst also adding the bite and tenacity which we've lacked at times, he's going to be a top player in this league no doubt.
Seen a good bit of him, the mrs is a gooner so I end up watching most of your games and I don't think he adds anything to the side. Tbf he hasn't looked bad, most PL midfields are piss poor so an average player with the likes of Ramsay and Cazorla around them will look good, but he's going to get badly shown up in the bigger domestic and European ties as has already happened against the scousers this year, you looked competitive when Xhaka replaced him but out of your depth completely before that.

Everyone has to watch and listen to this

PEG has become a parody of himself now. Blaming the ref, the players, just about anyone else for the defeat. Very similar to his last few months at Chelsea. Have to admit, I was concerned when he took the rag shilling in the summer. At the end of the day, he knows what it takes to win trophies. Watching them yesterday though, they're still basically a long ball mob. "Hoofball Lite", as it were.

Daily Mirror ratings

Silva 6 out of 10
Pogba 6 out of 10

Enough said

they make it up so people like us cant believe our eyes and go to the Mirror just to check the story and other mad shit they are saying.

it works. every time.

They are really hurting at this one. They thought they would spank us yesterday. There was trouble in Monton and in the northern quarter last night! Bad losers.

You seem to think I'm praising Bailly, I'm not. Any centre half worth a Sunday league starting spot prepares for the worst case scenario and gets prepared to defend the second ball, Blind presumed Bailly would win the ball when Nacho had a clear run on him and took his eyes off it.

Yer

When was the last time City beat Arsenal?
Quality bait GunnerJay....

He's losing it already and he's only been there a couple of months
If they're mid table in Feb and we smash em, his post match press conference may be something like this

Looks like our hierarchy were right about Pogba..he's never worth the type of money they paid for him..I genuinely thought we had made a mistake not signing him

I'm not saying he's shite..but makes my eyes water thinking how much money he cost..in today's market he's a 50mil player at best
Carragher was highlighting his performance in the post match analysis and he was showing how he isn't disciplined enough in the role, he was never close to Fellani in the middle of the pitch leaving gaps for us to exploit.

Probably one of the reasons why Pep didn't want him.

They thought they'd got their swagger back after scoring in the 94th minute at Hull. They was back. It was fergie time again. Watch us go on an unbeaten run they said. Jose is better than pep, pep will struggle to contain pogba and big nose, their fans was back to their crowing best, gobbing it off that they'll batter us.....meanwhile we said nothing, nobody said a word, our ex players said fuck all, our fans went about their business as usual and stood listening to the rag bigmouths.
And then we went and owned them in their stinking shitpit.
El Señor.

Andy Tate isn't happy

I'm sure the only reason they give him air time is because he's the only rag they can find with a manc accent.

Love watching them squirm like this. Also got to smile at the nugget in a half-and-half scarf milling about taking selfies at 1:28

But... but...look how big they all are? Surely that's what's important?
Bailly obviously didn't fancy a challenge with Kel (the lead up to the first goal). And Kel isn't exactly Mr Universe material, is he? He's tall, but he isn't the heftiest lad around. If Ota or Stones let a forward have an unchallenged header that then led to a goal, this place would go into meltdown. And rightly so. You're a defender; defend.
