Tried to stay away as been busy and find that international fortnight results in stuff just being dragged out unnecessarily, however having flick-read the last few pages it has to be said that SHB has confirmed his position as a comedy poster and fib is an utter loon.

I'll admit I have doubts about MP but am not going to lose the plot quite so quickly as some on here, it truly is unreal some of the shite posted over the last few days.

Shite?? What is shite is our away points tally. They are the hold card facts. 3 out of 18.
We can play all the pretty one touch ticka tacka football in the world but I'd rather have 3 pts. Sorry but I thought it was about points on the board. Of course it would be nice to do it the correct way but all these unlucky stories are just excuses for not being able to put away so called lesser opposition.
The annoying thing is that the league is clearly there for the taking this season and although the opposition has certainly got stronger, our squad is clearly the strongest yet we are still struggling to make an impact away from home.

I know our away form is shocking and a big concern, and I also know that the league is there for the taking. I've said I have concerns about MP and he needs to sort all this quickly as we can't afford many more slip-ups, however imo it's blatantly obvious the entrenched position you have taken is done purposefully to allow yourself the opportunity to bait Billy, Dave etc - something that imo is entirely unnecessary.

Listen Rammy with all due respect I think you will find that what happened yesterday between myself and Billy was nothing to do with City or Football.
Dave is actually a friend of mine and we pm regularly so stop shit stirring because you really don't know the half of it. I have no issue with any fans opinion on the club, manager etc and my position is not entrenched at all. Facts are facts and 4 out of 18 is simply a pathetic return considering the investment made to improve the squad.

And that is the adult response to being proven to be wrong. Like a little kid screaming "not fair, doesn't count".

He does have a valid point though. The 1st and 2nd place teams in that league are almost known before the season begins. It's just which order the season ends that is up for debate.

That was the only other European League that Pellegrini has managed in; do either of you see the irony there. Even more ironic then that Pellegrini manged to split the two horses with Villareal.

So what we seem to get is that his record in spain can't count because it is a two horse race and of course all his trophies in South America count for nothing.

Neil Lennon has a near 75% win rate in that other two horse race the SPL

All I've done is point out my reservations about him, everybody is surprised at his defensive tactics and team selections mate, Vinny is out for another month, let's see how he handles that.

I don't think our squad is the strongest though. The last round of the FL Cup highlighted that one. Our squad team was absolutely woeful at Newcastle, where Chelsea's squad team outplayed Arsenal at the Emirates. I'm not sure any of our players who started that night would get into Chelsea's team. And that's our squad: we have an excellent spine, better than anyone's, and then twenty players who are totally replaceable.

Even our spine is unreliable with Hart out of form and confidence, Kompany always injured, Yaya only turning up for the big games and Kun who spent last season injured. When we have any of those missing our quality as a side is significantly lower.

Our squad players don't do the job our best players do. Ferguson built squads so that they could play the same every week no matter if they had injuries or suspensions because everyone knew what their job was and could perform it. What Pellegrini needs to realise (fast) is that when our excellent but unreliable spine aren't there, we are not capable of doing the same job as a team so we need to find a different strategy from one week to the next depending on the opposition and our own personnel. If he doesn't grasp that soon we will continue to lose points away from home. I don't mind then letting the man build a squad that can do the job that a squad should do.

Instead of Navas an Jovetic he should have bought a LB and CB, our squad is strong enough apart from that. Too much emphasis on attacking talent. He only went for a CB when Vinny got injured- and Kolorov is Kolorov.

Get Baines in in January, CB not sure about
