Been a match going fan since watching us lose 4-3 to Wolves at Maine Road. Watched us in the 3rd tier losing to the likes of Stockport County, listening to their fans telling us they were the 2nd biggest team in Manchester. Travelled to Istanbul to see us complete the treble and to Athens to win the club World Cup. In my eyes we have always been the biggest and the best. Don’t give a flying fuck what the self entitled elite red cartel or social media say or think. They can all go and screw themselves at least 115 times!!!!!

No. The whole "big club" discussion is a never-ending argument amongst idiots on social media who haven't got a clue how to argue anything.

We have won 6 of the last 7 Premier League titles. We win the UCL in 2023. We have multiple domestic cups in addition to that. A stadium that holds around 55k. A Netflix series about us winning the treble. The biggest name in football management of the 2000s.

I dont need the approval of some 20 year-old shit head on twitter to validate any if the above.

I honestly couldn't give a shit. And tbh, I think fans of so called "smaller clubs" are laughing at fans of "big clubs". The matchday experience at elite level is shite these days. Been to a watch a few lower league clubs this season and whilst the football obviously isnt the best, literally everything else about the day as a whole is loads better. Obvs I love following City, all of the memories they've given me and the connection I have with my friends and family through the football , but the superiority complex from fans of big clubs is wild given their clubs don't really care about them and the current MO is to extract as much money from fans as possible whilst sanitising the atmosphere and policing behaviour to the extreme.

Personally I think being a big team = being consulted by the PL when they appoint new people like Masters, like utd and lfc are, that sort of thing. They'll never do that.

I was talking about reality. In reality we are the best side i England and probably Europe, they can all pretend we're not but we are. No City fan cares about their petty cartel club group. They can't compete with us on the pitch so they have resorted to other methods.

Jamie O’Hara is always talking about this. It’s a very odd thing to be obsessed about. There was always one kid at school in every year who was overly impressed with his own penis and wanted to measure against anybody and everybody behind the bike sheds. Years later they’re arguing about who’s the biggest football club. I agree that United are bigger than City and long may it continue. I always prefer City being the underdogs.

Had this argument with a bit of a kid on the train home from Wembley. He asked if I thought we were a big club. I asked him to define "big", which he couldn't. In the end, I got fed up of trying to reason with him.
I couldn't give a flying fuck if we are big or not, so long as we remain competitive and play good football.

big or little if you care you have to ask yourself why is anyone bothered and if one club being bigger than other is all you have then the discussion is a pointless waste of time for all concerned because it cant be defined in any meaningful way, these discussions are just to make fans feel better about their own clubs not doing so well at the mo, the only true discussion to have is best premier league team of all team and we have that one.
