about the same here for me, Italia 90 then Euro 96 have been the best since 66 'when i was not around', sadly it became apparent that the FA are in total control of the selection of big name players such as Rooney despite their club form, watch England? i would not cross the road even if it was free admission

This in a nutshell. Take Rooney...who would?....He has stunk out the last three tournaments aside from banging goals in against minnows in the qualifiers. However he keeps on getting picked. Then we have that buffoon Allardyce saying he can choose where he plays and it seems when he retires! He is the wrong side of thirty and should have been binned after the last debacle but oh no he keeps on getting picked, we keep on failing. We are shit and will continue to be shit until we get a brave manager who bins over hyped wankers like Rooney.

England have done fuck all since I've been alive ... and I'm 47. As far as I can see ... England will continue to do fuck all, especially when entertaining the idea of Southgate, Pardew, Bruce etc as the next manager.
