Do you still want Tevez at the club?

Uwe Rôsler has been quoted in norwegian newspapers today that he want to see the back of Carlos Tevez. Even if it ruins our season.
Tevez is not living up to Rôslers expectation, and he would love to se him gone.

great player shit attitude not a team player.. let him go if thats what he wants just dont let us be shafted...

Few points
Take the captains armband off him immediately, give back to Toure and say sorry.
Let Tevez go for the right price or play in the reserves for 3.5 yrs
Get a decent spanish translator who can translate 'dont take the piss' and 'do one you greedy bastard'
Get it into your heads we can play better total football without him.
Hes a consistent goalscorer but takes many chances to score one. I do believe his conversion rate is quite poor.
When he goes he will be replaced by a natural finisher
He is not bigger than the club
The future is even more awesome

i would like to watch a interview with him on tv and here his side of the story! doubt it will happen.

What Wooney did to the name and everyone associated with the rags.

It's a difficult one for me, yes he has hurt many fans and the club, I mean why did he have to make a statement or leak it to the press!

However I get the strange feeling that some face to face talks will ensue, and by the end of the week the air will have been cleared (until summer) it's all very similar to the Rooney situation. Once he realises there is nowhere else to go

My initial thoughts were that Tevez and his agent were playing the Rooney card and I was reluctantly happy to see us do a deal with him, after all his scoring record is without question and would be difficult to replace with any amount of money.
Since then I have decided that the club and the fans are worth much more and if it means waiting a bit longer for the success we crave the so fucking what!
Let him go as soon as we get a proper offer and move onwards and upwards.

Carlos Tevez will be present at Manchester City for training on Tuesday morning and will inform manager Roberto Mancini he is available for selection against Juventus in the Europa League.

Carlos Tevez has often expressed his dissatisfaction during his time at Manchester City
• Tevez keen on Spain or Italy
• Tevez: Why I want to quit
• City reject transfer request
• Robinho: I was no City slacker
• Paper Round: Tearaway Tevez

However, Tevez has made public his desire to leave City, citing a breakdown in relations with "certain executives", and has no intention of emulating Wayne Rooney by backtracking and signing a lucrative new contract.

While his request for a transfer will not be withdrawn, despite the club rejecting it, Tevez is prepared to play against Juve in Turin on Thursday night, should Mancini require him to do so. It is believed City would contemplate legal action if Tevez refuses to play, or carries out the underlying threat of retiring if he cannot get the transfer he is demanding. The striker has been on a short authorised break.

However, the forward is adamant he wants to leave City and would be prepared to take the issue to FIFA in order to allow him to resume his career at another club at a future date.

A source said: "The position is crystal clear - Carlos Tevez will return to training on Tuesday and has not refused to play. If he is asked to play on Thursday, he will play, for sure he will. The attitude of the manager, though, might be that he wants to put him on the bench from now until the end of the season, which, of course, is his prerogative.

"If this matter goes to FIFA, then so be it. Any compensation that FIFA might award to City would be less than the amount they can command in the transfer market for the player. It would make sense to sell the player, that is the sensible solution all round. Let's hope the club sees reason."

Meanwhile, Milan have ruled themselves out of the race to sign Tevez. The Italian league leaders recruited Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Robinho during the summer and cannot finance a move for the forward.

"Tevez is great but Milan can't make an investment like that," Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani told reporters.

Article in full, havent seen the emboldend quotes anywhere else; sounds desperate and churlish - would love to know who the source is!

Let's not get too upset. There's a lot of unsung heroes at the club; Kompany, Kolo, De Jong, Silva, Johnson, Yaya; it's not like we wouldn't be up there without him. Will be hard to replace but always felt that he was a livewire that would move on - he's been talking of retiring since he came to us. Might make a profit on a player for the first time in a while. I hope we make as big an example of him as possible.
