Do You Think I'm Sad?

Yes, yes he is. He's putting his kids education at risk just because of the colour of the schools jumper. Think about it for a second.
Actually the more I think of it I would say the story could be a load of bollocks, just like the one where the guy who smashed his phone up in the Vodafone store minutes after United became sponsored by them was proven to be bollocks. A 'i'm a massive blue' kind of story, but this is a new low as it involves a childs education.

I know where you are coming from but seriously, wearing a red uniform isn't a problem as my daughter has to at her school.as someone as said earlier sending a city supporter to a catholic school is far more worse as 1 there is no connection between city and Catholics!!! 2 catholic schools are full of scum supporters,so you have a lot better chance of your kid(s) remaining blue at the other shool

Dunno about the OP being sad but you definitely are!

Send one to each school, that way you don't have to hate both of them. I know you're not supposed to have favourites, but hey ho.

What a strange post..it's not about being the biggest blue..I don't give a shit about what people think of me never have..I'm a self confessed rag hater..never bought any products related to them..blah blah..won't even have red disposable lighters

Hence the title of my thread..maybe I really am sad

Ps: As I've already stated my sons education wouldn't be compromised as both schools are excellent

Seriously, don't listen to this guy. Any chance he gets to have a dig at fellow blues, he does.

Ok so my eldest will be starting reception school next year

There are two schools in my area..one ordinary primary..one catholic

They are both very good schools..my Mrs wants to go with the ordinary school which I'd usually go along with...

Trouble is..the school has red uniforms..so I've told her I don't want either of my sons going there

To the point of I'm willing to go to church and get myself and son baptised even though I'm an atheist..just so he can get in the catholic school who have a more acceptable green uniform

My Mrs thinks I am a dick

Had the same scenario, two schools within a short distance and to my horror the better school wore red. Prior to starting school today my little one would shout BOO MAN UNITED at anyone we walked past who wore either a Trafford top or just red in general.

With a bit of negotiation my lad still shouts BOO MAN UNITED at trafford United shirts but now simply asks "Dad is that school red or Boo Man United red" at anything else.

For the record I've attached City crests in the corner of all his bags for school, sad I know but to me it feels like a small victory!!!!!!

Right so what we have here is one poster, the OP, talking about not sending his kids to a potentially good school because of the colour of the jumper, then you have me questioning the validity of that post and you're saying don't listen to me?! I heard of a guy who claimed to have walked into a vodafone shop minutes after buying his phone and smashing it up because he found out they had sponsored United. It was a myth, a lie, a nothing and all in the name of him trying to be a big blue. Thats a funny story, but denying your kids a potentially good school because of the colour of the jumper is about as funny as cancer.

He said they're both good schools so he's denying his kids nothing.

Anyway, you're only mad at the biggest blues shit because you're dead last on that scale. The guy who said he hoped Hughes would go to Chelsea and win the title to show us all...
