he's joining next season, its all been agreed, expect a bid more than twice as big as the kaka bid and expect it to get accepted, everyone has already agreed, but only if we finish 6th or above this season.

sod paying upwards of £180 million for Wio!

Villa fan here.

There is something dodgy going on here, usually the player comes down gets shown around, chats with the manager and then signs. He is on his way back to Manc and hasn't signed. I reckon he might just stay and fight for his place, he's obviously a fans favourite, has started the season well and I don't think getting benched will jepordise his Irish place.

No doubt wages are a sticking point, I can't see us paying him 50k per week if thats what he's on with you lot, I also don't think he's guaranteed to start once Curtis has had an Op.

I can't say I'm really bothered either way. If he comes he might be useful, but I'm not his biggest fan. TBH I'd rather have Richards off you at least he has the potential to improve.

Now we have Hollands pies I can't see him moving! On a serious point wages may be an issue, I think he is on 50k plus whatever he gets for own goals.
Might be useful? Behave yourself,Dunnie is far superior to any of your current centre halves.Richards for Young - straight swap?
You reckon? I've always thought he looks a bit slow, Cuellar and Davies are pretty good in that respect, just need a centre half to attack every high ball. What's he like in the air?

Young for Richards!! Couldn't do that, then Robinho would have to benched and would cause you all sorts of upset :)

Yes!! We could of given him the send off he deserves, after years of playing with a crap back four and single handedly pulling us through some tough times.
I wondered how many red cards and own goals he had for Ireland???, or was it just a brief loss of form for us.

Firstly I wish Dunne all the best, but playing with a crap back four, not sure about that, Distin carried Dunne for years. It was supprise that he such a bad season last year without Distin for the first time mopping up his mistakes
I know what you mean, we have had some good players in the back 4, Corluka, Nicolas Jensun and Distin but I've always rated Dunne.
