Dzeko Not Happy With Current Setup - Quotes

Dzeko is 4th choice striker because Mancini having seen him in training and games believes the other 3 are better than him. Most fans would agree Tevez and Aguero are better, I think Dzeko would concede this too. The probelm is when Ballotelli gets the nod in front of him and this was exactly the same probelm Tevez had.

I personaly prefer Ballotelli to Dzeko, but his behaviour off the pitch would get him suspended for 4 or 5 games a season at any other club and his behaviour on the pitch has been an unaceptable. He behaves like a bid child and yet seems to get away with it all the time, Dzeko behaves like a good pro and for this reason I would play him before Ballotelli until he has a change in attitude.

Dzeko does need to improve his performances, he is not worth the 27mill we payed for him, his touch and his positional play is poor, he is lazy at times and you have to question his mental strength when he's complaining about being on the bench and not fighting for a start.
Translation; not good enough
14 goals in 16 league starts tells me he is quite clearly good enough.

I'm far from a Balotelli apologist because I find him an attention seeking baby with questionable professionalism - but Mad Mario does make goals too. Dzeko doesn't.

Even though Dzeko had more assists last season?

Again, not saying who's better (Mario is in my opinion) I'm just stating a fact.

I think Balotelli is more flexible too. Dzeko doesn't start ahead of Aguero, Tevez or Balotelli for me which is why he needs out. He's going to be a prolific goalscorer if he's used correctly.

Those figure are disingenuous and you know it.

The problem as I see it is that as he's quite clearly a confidence striker and as such he isn't a squad player that will be fit for rotation. If he's not playing every game his confidence drains from him by the minute. He was on fire until he was dropped for a few games last season. He came back after only a couple of games absence and performed if he'd never played in the team before. His hold up play, first touch, shot conversion and vision at times clearly indicated a striker shot in terms of confidence. And all that after a very successful five game start in the team. So, do we play him every game to keep his confidence up? Well, only if our other strikers aren't as good. But with Kun, Tevez and Ballotelli being, in my opinion, better strikers then no, we shouldn't. And with that being the case, perhaps he would be better off at a club where he is first choice. They would see the best of him. Here, we have better forwards and cannot afford to 'carry' players in bad form whom we can't rotate.

perfect analysis

Ahhh "The Sun", even when you read in it that sun is shining, it's recommended to go outside and see it with your own eyes. Just to be sure.

The story has been blown up out of proportion. I've read it few days ago on the German website. Nothing much has been said.
To summarize it, Dzeko has said that he's been somewhat disappointed that he spend majority of second half of the season on the bench and that he believes that he's quality player who should have played more. That led to him losing rhythm and that he started to doubt himself. He added that he respects the Coaches decision and he's fully committed to the City's 12/13 season and will do whatever it takes to help the team defend the Premier Leauge Title.

I am not sure how reliable SUN and rest of English Media is but the Sun report is really laughable.
See this summary from the original. Every day we get rubbish written about our players, and an element still lap it up as fact
