As a Bosnian i have to write a few lines. I love Edin and he is a good player and he can play in a good Club(Arsenal, Inter, Dortmund, Atletico) but not in one of 10 best Clubs in the world and i think City is in that ten with the full squad. And this thread is annoying but i can't help it and i keep coming back. I think most of the criticism he gets is OK but some people are defending him with stupid statistics and "he is not playing enough or this and thaat" and now the critics are even worse and most of the time too much because of some Bosnians. Fans should be able to just comment normally about a player but in Edins case it is really really hard because now those defending him are really annoying and the others are just making fun of them.
All that said I think Edin is a great guy and a good player and I hope he will leave City with one more Premier League won. And one more thing about supporting Edin, from what I have heard by watching games on television the support for him is really great, the fans are always singing his song and I think the fans will remember him for the good things he has done for the club.
Hope you could understand everything because my English is not that good.

It looks like nothing has changed from 4 months ago.

A City fan from Manchester/UK will talk about how poor Edin’s general play is, how his touch is bad, how selfish he is, how he misses too many sitters and can’t pass a ball.

Then after playing shit for 89 minutes, Dzeko will score a goal.

Cue the Dzeko fans from Bosnia who will come on and start talking about “important goals” and how these obscure statistics prove beyond any reasonable doubt that Dzeko is in fact better than Tevez, Aguero and Negredo. You also have to discard these statistics because they don’t show Dzeko in a favourable light and they were influenced because Navas/ Nasri/ Silva/ Aguero wouldn’t pass the ball to him. Also Mancini and Pellegrini have mismanaged him. Also you have to factor that in the build up to that important goal scored by someone else; Dzeko played a pivotal role by sneezing and distracting an opposition defender momentarily. You're all just haters anyway.

To be honest, it’s all a bit boring now. I’m all for freedom of speech but there comes a time when this thread is just detrimental to the forum and no headway will be made. Lock it, ban the Bosnians and we can all ride off in to the sunset.

Message to those who don't rate Dzeko: Maybe you should be sending all your reasons why he's not good enough to Pellegrini, rather than posting on a forum. I'm sure if you all got together and let Pellegrini know the level of your football knowledge and your standing on Bluemoon, he's bound to have a rethink.

Of course, if either side just enjoys winding up the other, then carry on, because that's pretty much all that's being achieved here (as entertaining as that can be at times).

Don't quite think you're being impartial with the messages to both sides there. City fans are trolls and Bosnians shouldn't care what City fans think, is what I took from that post. Who said I was trying to come across as neutral? I was just stating the situation as it currently is. In terms of 'winners' and 'losers', those who rate Dzeko are currently 'winning', as the manager seems to agree more with their view. For a while earlier on this season, and most of the last couple of seasons, those who don't rate him were 'winning' because the manager appeared to agree more with their views. Actually that's not quite true - if any manager agreed with the average view of those who don't rate Dzeko, he'd never get a game at all and would have been sold by now (perhaps they tried and it's a financial thing - I don't know).

And in terms of being impartial, you're language isn't exactly impartial is it?: "City fans" on one side and "Bosnians" on the other - not very original nor accurate, I'd hazard to guess.
