Hernandez better than Dzeko..you wally.

Lol,...as soon as I put that a couple of utd players would be better options I knew there would be a reacton from some...Take off the red hating secs and look at what he offers as an individual...not just him however.....there are numerous other stirikers in the prem id have over dzeko taht would offer more either as a starter or coming off the bench..........its about options for me and dzeko offers nothgin that negrado hasnt already got whereas we have no one to offerwhat kun does if and when he is injured.......... we need mobile pacy striker who is direct and can run at people with the bal as well as being good in the box....dzeko doesnt offer thiis

19 goals in 38 appearances 7 assists Dzeko

7 goals in 25 appearances 2 assists Hernandez

like I said...you wally... ;)

firstly..........stats mean nothing and can be distroted as everyone knows...Hernandez gets very little playing time at utd.......dzeko gets much more and this season consistently whereas hernandez gets very little consistent game time which can affect form

secondly stop with the insults/name calling...its pathetic

thridly.........as i keep saying i personally wouldnt have hernndez but its more about having a different option/style of striker...we already have a big man in negrado....but when kun is injured we need someone with similar attributes...small pacy and direct...dzeko is none of these and is not clinicl enough.........sell him even if it means getting a young and upcoming striker

and dont even mention guedetti.........he wont ever be good enough for where we need to be

On a serious note, they are completely different players. I don't even know how you can compare the two. If you want a small agile player then Hernandez is what you're looking for. But there is a number of things Dzeko brings to the table that Hernandez could only dream to provide. Apples and oranges.

EXACTLY - someone like hernandez offers us somthing different which is what ive been saying.......you can compare them in one way however in that hernandez is a lot more clinical whereas dzeko usually needs 3-4 attempts before he gets on the score sheer
Dzeko can be clinical as well, I think this is his worst season as far as shots/goals is concerned. However he's still averaged one assist or goal per game. I think you have the grass is always greener syndrome. Hernandez got a bit lucky last season from a lot of close call offside situations. Out of 547 minutes in league games he's just scored 2 goals, which is pretty far from being prolific contributor to a team and nowhere near as good as Dzeko's contributions.

If one player offers something different out of the two than that's Dzeko. Hernandez would offer nothing over Jovetic or Aguero as he's just the worse version of the two. Dzeko offers height, and strength.

IMO looking back, Mancini bought Dzeko before he'd even managed a game in the prem. (?)

Dzeko was the back up for bad weather and Stoke.

My theory on why he kicked the post: he was bought for Stoke.

Dzeko though in his defence is world class on his day, loved that goal against Real.

dzeko and negrado have the same attibutes....the difference is negrado is a better player and his attributes come to the fore more often than dzekos

and again i wouldnt have hernandez in my team...im saying that he offers something different for when KUN IS INJURED...........we need that TYPE of player as back up
jovetic i dont really have a clue about as just not seen enough of him...maybe he will prove we can cope with just him negrado and kun BUT it is impossible to tell at present and his consistent injuries are doing nothing to inspire confidence at all.

This might be true, but I don't think Dzeko thinks he was bought for Stoke. It's evident from Mancini's shortcoming in managing Dzeko's expectations. Edin kicked the post because he missed a sitter, and a chance to kill the game. A goal he missed yesterday was a goal he scored dozens of times, but for some reason his feet failed him. Can't blame him from being pissed.
