Edin Dzeko

I would be happy to keep dzeko next season and if we sell Tevez even better since his minutes on the pitch would improve. Plus a swap deal with Napoli is not bad either win win situation for us tbh.

If our midfield is stronger then Dzeko will score bucket loads of goal if given time and good management. Always felt Mancini destroyed his confidence with the decision to send him on the bench after scoring 4 verses spurs. I hope Pellegrini won't be like that.

We have FFP to worry about and spending 60million on cavani not happening is understandable.

I get the feeling Nasri might be off if isco comes too...

Speaking of the return on the investment, did anyone ever calculate how much the players get paid per each goal scored, based on their salary?

Quite often we compare Dzeko to Aguero but we forget that Aguero is paid 80,000£ per week more than Dzeko.

Mathematically speaking Aguero's salary is 65% higher then Dzeko's salary.

For the season 2012/13 each Dzeko's goal comes at approximately 346,000£ discount when compared to the cost one of Aguero's goals. If you include the fact that Dzeko scored two goals more during the regular season, Aguero got paid over 400,000£ more than Dzeko per each goal that he scored.
No, because nobody is that sad and desperate, except for you.
I forgot that some of us have a man crush on Aguero. In that case please disregard my post.

Oh no; does that mean we'll have an influx of Angry Frenchmen on here defending Samir as if their lives depended on it?

Was Dzeko linked with Chelsea other day?????

Mourinho will listen to offers for Chelsea’s Juan Mata as well as Luiz & Torres [Sunday Times]

Navas, Mata and Silva behind Aguero

that would blow my head right off!!

Mata is a very good player. Just not sure where we'd play him, moreso if we got Isco. 4 attacking midfielders would be nice, but you need someone in the Barry role.

So Roman spent the years since he sacked Jose chasing beautiful Barca type football - started buying players with Pep in mind but now does a complete about turn and brings Jose back - and is prepared to let Mata go (Chelsea's outstanding player) to return to Jose percentage style football. Very odd.

If we sold Nasri then he could come in? Straight swop edin for mata? Then sell nasri to PSG job done!!

I'll disregard your post because not only does nobody know the players wages but it's the most desperate attempt at knocking a player to promote another.

As for a "man crush", I hope the irony isn't lost on you.

One's a creative midfielder, the other one, er, isn't. Hardly a straight swap!!

Barry/Fernandinho
Silva---Yaya---Isco/Mata---Navas
Aguero/Tevez(Cavani?)
