Re: Edin Dzeko legend

Being dzekos biggest critic and even confirming I hate him on this thread, thought he did well when he came on the other night. If he starts against Barnsley it's mu opinion we will struggle in this game.

Re: Edin Dzeko legend

Bild says talks are happening between us and Dortmund despite all the "We can't buy a City player" public nonsense. But Dzeko's high wage demands (about £2.7million/year more than Dortmund willing to pay) are threatening to kill it, would he prefer to be a fringe player next season on big wages than a starter at an exciting club like Dortmund...?

Why do you hate him? Bit strong don't ya think.

He seems like a decent fella who works hard and seems to love wearing our shirt!

Unless he's been shagging your bird I think your out of order pal!

hard to feel remorse for the lad 'wanting to go back to Germany' but not dropping his demands. Talking about having your cake and eating it, too. I feel we will have the same problem with Nasri, that it sounds like we might be having with Dzeko, and what we had with Adebayor.

It's all German media speculations.

Pretty much, and even if it wasn't it would be his agent's words anyways. That's what agents do, haggle for most pay.

He doesn't win headers, but he's working massively on his work rate. Twice he tackled their centre backs on the edge of their own area; once we scored, and the other time he laid Tevez off with a great pass who fucked it up. Dzeko worked hard for the team last night. It's a shame the team didn't work hard for him. He doesn't need wingers, he needs to play with a partner up top, preferably Aguero.
This is just blind-sided. Have you watched the Liverpool game? Dzeko didn't bother to close down any of the two Liverpool centre-backs when Aguero was running his bollocks off.

Your failure to see the rest of team, Zaba, Milner, Silva, Tevez, work so hard for the team and only see Dzeko's contribution that if you weren't just here for the Dzeko bandwagon, it's simply disgusting.

I was talking about the Villa game specifically, and I'm not "just here for the Dzeko bandwagon". Can you honestly say that the performance against Villa was satisfactory?

It was an average performance for the most part

But to say the team didn't work hard for Dzeko in particular, is up there with saying Silva doesn't pass to Edin on purpose.

Perhaps people are getting the wrong end of the stick. I only meant that the team didn't match Edin's work rate on Monday, I didn't mean to suggest that there is anything vindictive going on.

forgot to tweet some gossip from Manchester: Edin Dzeko to Borussia Dortmund is "all but done", I was told. #BVB

Been told he is a highly respected German journalist..

raphael honigstein ‏@honigstein
one word of caution: Dzeko to Bayern was also almost done last year, before too many agents asked for too much commission
