Thought he was poor during the 90 minutes, but so were the whole team, including Negredo. Came to life in extra time and played a vital part in the win, but still feel he has more to offer. Needs to find some consistency to his game. You could argue he needs regular games to get that, but he rarely offers compelling evidence that he deserves to start every game.
Personally I'd start him against Norwich, despite having just played 120 minutes, to see if he can get some momentum. Negredo would start against CSKA.

I like Edin but the fact that we have to 'give him momentum' sort of says it all really. Negrado may have not done much either in the 90 mins but you get the feeling that he is on the verge of doing something or making something happen by just being there. Edin just becomes anonymous. For a big guy he has mastered the knack of invisibility in front of 30,000 odd people and god knows how many TV cameras. Its a neat trick and just when you have forgotten all about him he appears out of nowhere like a bleeding genie.
Edin for me is 'rub 3 times' and send on when needed. But not as a starter. Aguero and Negrado every time.
Just be careful where you rub though.

He is lazy , cant control the ball , shit in the air , he reminds me of the goal hanger we all used to hate at school , but always seems to get on the score sheet . as long as hes happy to be 3rd striker he should stay until the summer.

proper lazy bastard as usual, we might as well av played with 10 men for 90m,but then he has 2mins ov quality!! still our 4th striker
