1dart has landed quite a haul today, even with obvious sarcasm.

He has certainly entertained me.

Bandwagon - I will take 80 lucky goals and 70 classics in Edin's next 150

They also like their players to be able to control the ball.
They also like players who are proven Bundesliga record holders.
Apart from the biggest transfer fee (selling wise), what records does Dzeko hold in the Bundesliga?
Highest scoring duo of all time. He was also two times Bundesliga player of the year. Back when Dzeko used to play football he was quite good.

Regardless, unless someone's won it the most times then it's not a record is it. Great joint effort with Grafite though, that's some accomplishment.

dzeko can't control the ball ? how did he manage to score so many goals then ?

A fellow blue Mooners published stats on here showing Dzeko was decent at controlling the ball. He is also a good finisher. Maybe Edin would raise his work rate - like he does for Bosnia - if he had the passionate Dortmund support behind him, rather than the Etihad bus pass brigade.

Guess it's too much to ask of Dzeko to perform due to the fact he's a professional footballer and on at least 100k a week? Make some noise people, Dzeko will in turn bag us 35 goals this year!

Imagine what Messi could do if the Nou Camp had a huge singing section? 180 goals a season? 200?

2 times Bundesliga Players' Footballer of the Year award. Voted by the players.

That was a different time and a different league. Dzeko doesn't seem to suit our style of play and he is deservedly behind Aguero and Negredo at the moment. He's just got to get on with it and make the most of the playing time he gets and try to force his way back into the starting line-up.

I doubt he'll get a new contract, so I would imagine we'll sell him on in Jan (if we can get a replacement) or the Summer.

You are responding to a comment which was made in context of Klopp rating Dzeko and the potential move to BvB.

Where is Kagawa on the list. The Manure PR machine told us he was player of the year 2 year's running with him only playing half the season in one of them.

Back to topic, Dzeko would thrive for Dortmund. They create the sort of chances - on the charge - that Dzeko scored many goals for us coming on as sub over the last couple of seasons.
