Not sure he'd fit Dortmund, unless their style has changed they ask their front men to do a hell of a lot of pressing, Dzeko has shown no interest in this aspect of the game.

They also like their players to be able to control the ball.
They also like players who are proven Bundesliga record holders.

Gerd Muller?
German football has evolved a lot since Edin last played and likewise he has regressed as a player.
I'd be surprised if he went Dortmund & shocked if he was a success there.

dzeko can't control the ball ? how did he manage to score so many goals then ?

Because hes shit and they were all tap ins or stray passes that fluked their way in to the goal.

A fellow blue Mooners published stats on here showing Dzeko was decent at controlling the ball. He is also a good finisher. Maybe Edin would raise his work rate - like he does for Bosnia - if he had the passionate Dortmund support behind him, rather than the Etihad bus pass brigade.

so basically he guided more than 150 goals into the net without knowing how to control the ball. incredible.

so basically he guided more than 80 goals into the net without knowing how to control the ball. incredible.

Edin - please knock in another 80 lucky goals. If your really lucky can you score another three of them in two more of the most important games in our history (a bit like the 6-1 at the swamp and the equaliser vs QPR).
