All those people who can afford the tickets but choose not to attend, without offering them back to the club or selling/passing them on should be ashamed. There's plenty I people who would love to go, but can't get a ticket.
If you can't go, sell them or let them go to someone who would appreciate it.
Tickets for troops is always looking for donations.

Hilarious. Tickets for last two home games sold literally out a couple of hours before kick off. If they were that desperate to go they had days, weeks to phone the club and book tickets.

Yes mate I will send my season ticket off to the Army recruiting office. They will send it me back for the next home game wont they?

I take it Frank that you don't go to many games but I thought I would raise this after your laughter at other posters.

The Club message I saw said that there are still some single tickets available on the third tier. Do you really think families want to take these tickets.

I enjoyed the bit about the need for shame when not passing my ticket on, on the odd occasion I can't get to a game. It's the same sanctimonious mindset as those people who berated Skeikh Mansour for spending half a billion dollars on City, when the money could have been used to build hospitals and orphanages

I look forward to you changing your username to I'm Alright Jack!

Geordie Chant!

They're here,
They're there,
They're every f*cking where,
Empty seats,

Empty seats...

They're here,
They're there,
They're every f*cking where,
Empty seats,
Empty seats…

Begs the question…… Would you swap?

I wouldnt give the steam off my piss to somebody who would rather leave a seat empty than give a soldier on leave the chance of seeing a game!

Fuck off you tool. Where do I even mention the armed forces? You know jack shit about my feelings for our troops, and how dare you piously bring them into a debate about season card holders missing games, you absolute cock

Wow, you really are scraping the barrel now. I'm guessing season ticket holders missing a game means a bunny rabbit dies will be your next bit of insight.

You've tried everything else.

I only go to the 'big' games. It's not that I can't be arsed going to other games, but any Saturday game is out for me. Sometimes I sell my tickets on, sometimes I have no takers.

Questions for those of you that are the blue seat spotting brigade.....why do you give a fuck? I take it you never went to Maine Road in the 80's? Think I saw Maine Road full maybe 3 times in that period, once vs the red shite, once vs candlepool in the Q final of a cup the other vs Charton. All circa 50k. The rest of the 80's we were lucky to get 25-30k for a game, so half the stadium was empty most games. Nobody gave a fuck then, so no idea why anybody gives a fuck now.

I don't have a problem with the atmosphere. It is what it is.

That's fine, but you're in a minority of 1. The vast, vast majority of people here want the atmosphere to improve.

Mainly because it's more enjoyable with a rocking atmosphere and the team plays better when motivated by the stands, and fans like their club to have the best chance of winning.

the atmosphere is shit because the vast majority of our support doesn't back the team not because of a few hundred season ticket holders don't turn up

a huge proportion don't even stay to the end for gods sake

There us a myth about our great support the reputation was built on large numbers turning up every game when we were shit in the lower divisions I would suggest the vast majority of them fans no longer even go to the stadium
They have been forced out by the gentrification of our fan base the club have chosen middle class families over drunken working class fans, the shit atmosphere is the price you pay for the reduction of drunken swearing yobs

The proof of this is clear just look at ticket pricing and the ridiculous priority given to the Family Stand

I know this will not be popular view on here but I am speaking as a long standing fan who missed only three games home and away in 10 seasons during our yo-yo years and made sure I attended every game in division three
spot on mostly, apart from the continualy spouted "middle class"myth ,

Your losing it now so I'll leave it at that. I wasn't being specific to your post but the one that preceded you where somebody said they would welcome any spares for forces etc. it didn't stop you laying into people who don't share your view

Have a good weekend!

Is that the best you've got. You are right in that I've made all the points I wish to make and will address anything else with the Club.

iIRC you are the one who gives all sort of examples of people being ill, on holiday etc. anyone can miss a few games so it's not a big deal either way!
