Empty seats.. worsening trend?

Another point worth making.

Many season ticket holders didn't go yesterday. Lot's of new fans near me in 111. My Mrs had a similar experience where she sits. Only 2 regulars near here. The rest were new fans.

It shows we do have additional support waiting to fill the stadium, as long as seats are priced correctly.

As long as they're taught it's not "cityquette" (Oh that's a great word) to film the whole bloody match on their phone all the way through.

And not to stare and giggle at people who try starting a song.

And to get back to their seat BEFORE the second half starts.

And to realize it gets colder after 4pm so put some bloody thermals on so you don't jiggle your legs next to me for 30 minutes.

Just sayin' like.

The empty seats in the North Stand doesn't have anything directly due to demand.

The crowd was very good, and much bigger than at almost every other ground, but we still had the Ticket Office saying only single tickets available, and empty rows in the same old blocks at the front of the North Stand. Therefore we must assume that those seats are being given to a third party who is unable to shift them.

I thought it was okay yesterday.

There were a lot of kids around me which is unusual, but as JRB said, it's good to see that we have some casual fans that will hopefully fill the gap when the more hardcore can't go.

I wouldn't worry too much about the empty seats as long as they're being sold it's not really an issue, unlike places like Burnley that have only managed to shift 6,000 tickets for their game tonight (Including away fans).

Bit of a joke when the club announce only single seat sales left and then you see groups of seats empty. This cannot be season ticket holders not turning up. I appreciate there are some that dont turn up but not in big groups.

Something needs to be done and identify who's the tickets were and why were they not available to through City

I take everything the City ticket office announces with a pinch of salt, yet again it was announced that the only availability was single tickets but you are at the game and see rows in the family stand. It has to be said that huge swathes of season ticket holders were absent yesterday around me, probably 50% which proves that there are local City supporters who would go when they are not confronted with the disgusting league match day prices.

Aye, bit of an arse yesterday.
Admittedly left it a little late, but finally convinced my youngest boy to attend his first math (he's 4...perhaps a bit young, perhaps not). Drove up early to the stadium and joined the queue to purchase three tickets (my elder daughter was going to attend also). Finally got to the front to be told only single tickets were left (website in the morning didn't actually specifically mention this). Wasn't good to see a few pockets of empty seats (as in several empty seats together) but I presume there were genuine reasons for this.
Still...it was blinking cold, so perhaps I'll wait to take laddo when it warms up a little...I'm sure I'd be in trouble if I helped give him a cold on his first day back at school!

Do Arsenal get the FA Cup 3rd tie as part of their season ticket? There were no patches of empty seats together, but there were thousands of empty seats dotted throughout the stands as if season ticket holders had not gone.
